What others don't see is that I gave the guy a chance to redeem himself and he decided not to take it and decided to wait the ban out. Sure, it may have been a bit of a dodgy ban, but I gave him a second chance, was up to him to take it or not.

I agree with cosmic and everyone about this issue, I always have uTorrent open but I usually just use it to download large free games (like that one game where you type responses to people talking at a party, can't remember the name) and I never get banned when I post my desktop somewhere.

the only problem that I have ever had was when vnl banned me for expressing my opinion, which happened to be that I thought the op was a troll.

my exact words being:

"I smell troll"

and I was banned for backseat moderation. but I have seen many others calling people trolls with no consequences.

I think it should either be all or none.
