Seriously, wtf Ventilated?
You mods are too cynical.
What I completely dislike is the attitude towards new members as a whole, such as the rules that are so strict and not really explained by terms in the rules section. Personally, even if I had an IQ over 140 and be 20 I could still not figure out what "Backseat moderating" means no matter what. There should be warnings, or some other very similiar way of compensating for the fact that they are new and do not have a very clear idea of how to be on the forum.
But this won't happen since the moderators are mostly dickrubbing power hungry men, and will never in their right mind slap someone when they can kneel them in the stomach

In most major sections, there is a sticky'd thread that describes the rules for the section. Other than that, you have to use your common sense to avoid being banned.

It's not personal experience, the rules are nondescript but that is not the problem. The problem is the fact that even with a ton of common sense you can still screw up.
If you're still screwing up you require addition common sense
build more farms

stop before i make you reap the whirlwind
Really the answer is "lurk more", and if you aren't sure then ask. The bans are targeted at the people that prance in and think they know exactly what they're doing, or at those who think mods will just clean up and mistakes they make. It's how the forums were always run and it's likely not going to change.
When was Benji remodded?

How can you not figure it out? It's a play on backseat driving, that is to tell the driver what to do and be generally annoying and predictive of the driver. Seriously, how is it not obvious?
Rusty is my favorite mod.

Obviously he has a high IQ but is not strong on social skills or common knowledge
Rusty is my favorite mod.
And he just banned you.
I guess it's a love/hate thing.

Backseat driving isn't really something that non-native english speakers hear every so often. Or almost ever. Sure, it sounds obvious to you and anyone that knows what it means, but still. It even took me a while after first hearing about it to figure out it's a play on backseat driving. I knew what Backseat mod ban was about predicting moderation, most probably because everyone used "Predicting moderation" as a reason before. You should start using it again.
Even though this is an english forum, probably 40% or more users don't have english as primary language.
Please, think of the aliens.

If he gets banned for it and feels that it was for the wrong reasons, he can always post about it in the RC. We actually read the posts there.

Super Moderators
Hezzy- Hate him for a particular reason. Hardly see him ban or lock threads.
DEADBEEF- Don't care (rarely see him moderates or posts).
Dragon- Wannabe likable moderator.
PacificV2- Don't care about that specific mod.
TH89- Okay guy, hardly see him in FP nowadays.
GunFox- Don't care.
RayvenQ- Who?
verynicelady- Ehh, a good moderator. Eyebrows are still raised when we saw that goldmember
What? Show me.

Exactly. Hezzy's an expert at ignorantly striking insults, also.
i don't play favours
you don't pay favors
or
you don't play favorites
I really don't notice the Moderators that much, either than the red text with their names and the ban reasons.
To be honest, people tend to post very random and unhelpful posts and get away with it frequently. I'm talking about having absolutely no relevance to the current topic, of course. Meaning, the Forum has gotten less strict.
Asher Roth can you sing me a song about college?

Britain and Canada and I think Australia spell it with a u after the o.
So if you think you're being smart, you aren't.
i think he was talking about how i used the wrong word entirely but ok
