I'm seeing Modest Mouse in August. God, I hope they play lots of Lonesome Crowded West stuff. Actually I hope they just don't play anything post-Moon & Antarctica.

I heard Isaac Brock acts like a dick all the time at concerts.
I wish it would be a prog band, but no such luck. "Progressive" is now a dirty word in the record industry after its crash in the '70s.
It'll be known for the whole emo/scene bands.
Sadly, you're probably right. I want this decade to be commemorated by Muse or Dream Theater, but it just won't happen...

Fall Out Boy. You know you hate to admit it...
Linkin Park. Maybe.
Problem is all the really good music nowadays is mostly underground
good. I love going to underground shows where the crowd is small, makes for a better time. Plus I meet a lot more people that way.
Fall Out Boy and poppy shit like that duh
This question is moot. We won't be remembered at all!
Richard Fucking Cheese!
It won't be a band, it will be a female singer, unfortunately. I wish it was Alestorm. :yarr:
It won't be a band, it will be a female singer, unfortunately. I wish it was Alestorm. :yarr:
Nope, Ricardo Queso
I actually can't think of any... That are worthy. Not muse. Not QOTSA
too bad, It would be great
Richard Fucking Cheese!
& the lounge against the machine?
For me it will be Hilltop Hoods. Epic band
You're trying to name one best band of a whole decade. It's not going to happen
It's a bit sad to see that in the old days rock was the main genre everyone listened to, in the 60s and 70s and stuff, now it's all rap and hip hop.

It... diversified?
why?
Because mainstream rap all sounds the same?
mainstream rock all sounds like the same shit too
Lady GaGa sure will be played on the radio within the next 10 years I think. Not a band though.
mainstream rock all sounds like the same shit too
.... True, true.
Because mainstream rap all sounds the same?
Then don't listen to it?
This generation of music is so sad.
Not really.
Yes, really.
God, i fucking miss the way it used to back in like 80's, i wasn't alive back then but i've seen concerts and videos of like Led Zep and god atleast there were a bunch of amazing hit bands back then but now one person with a voice synth can become the next best thing ever. Not that i have anything against rap or anything, however i miss the way it used to be. The band of this generation is impossible to decide because so much change has happened we have to wait atleast until '10 before deciding, well that was my 2 cents.
