Can you bring back gold membership for the new year ? - General

What about something like 500 posts plus an additional 500 for every time they got banned? See that way, in ensures that the person is willing to contribute to the community, but the ban thing is to make sure that they don't just post crap everywhere to artificially inflate their post count, that they actually put some level of quality into their posts. Best of all, under this system it would be possible for people to lose gold membership if they got banned enough, and would give them an opportunity to earn it back.

And honestly, I kind of believe it.[/QUOTE] its not that bad, but it's not for everyone. keep in mind people who hate the gold forum also tend to not be regulars in the gold forum, and most of the regulars in the gold forum rarely post outside the gold forum, so most of the opinions that the blue members get are somewhat biased.

glod's only good for the avatars i'm glad i didn't pay for it myself. and refugee camp.

To be honest, gold membership is so common here that blue member regulars are much more rare. Gold has kind of lost its shine. All aboard for platinum membership!

They should readd it back, but require the user to be least 6 months old, and maybe a free gold memberships for 2000 posts and 5 years or something. Also, name changing for $10 or less.
