Given, I haven't been on here in years... I gather someone put a stop to the gold memberships? Man, I was here for (and got into) the first round (OG, yo). I think it was open for a few hours and 10-15 people jumped in before it shut down. Garry, either accidentally or intentionally, left it so we could view the then-hidden Facewound dev forum. We all bumrushed the link to the latest build before he locked us out. Good times. Though, the Gold forums those days were a fucking madhouse of inline HTML. I don't know which is worse; not being able to get the membership back then when it was so rare, or not being able to get one today, when most of the regulars appear to be goldies.

I think that maybe we shouldn't be able to get gold member, but instead pay for larger GIF avatar. That's the only reason why I want it, really.

i've been chasing gold to no avail. first the 2 year requirement but that got upped once i hit 2 years. then the 5 years got removed before i just hit 5. garry you need to make this right you gold nazi

Rather than deal with gullible angry people, garry just disabled gold membership.
