Count me in for at least two, even if i barely ever use them i still like owning FP patches.
And i always buy two because i'm paranoid about losing them.
Is there going to be a site you can buy these from? You could sell them from somewhere like Redbubble (I think).
I can make armbands, Kill but I need time before I try that.
Also those patches that have been posted I'll look into. I need to figure out how to use more than one color for a single patch, I don't think it's hard just time consuming.
We'll have a website when I start selling them and at first I'll probably do like a limited 100 piece run of Red/White patch. 100 Pieces of Tan/Black and than I'll try to get people some custom one-of-a-kind patches that they request. We'll see what I can do.
Ultimately Embroidery is really time consuming and cost ineffective for the long run to make customized no-minimum order patches so everything that we sell now will be invested into a better machine which will make patch production faster and easier with more color, style and quality options.
Only problem with that is I have to sew on velcro for my IJA kit too
Totes legitâ„¢
But on a serious note, I think armbands would be hella versatile, from running insurgent lodeotus to nam, it'd be great
get FP collar insignia for your IJA kit
For things like armbands, I'd probably pick that up at heat pressing it is probably a lot more cost effective
Definitely interested if a smaller, tan/black version is made. Don't have a lotta velcro space left as it is.

Who is Upnushi?
Who is Upnushi?
A Japanese man who was swept out to sea in the tsunami, and washed up on the shore of America to spread blue jeans and M4's to all.

A japanese airsofter that simply loved m4s, acu, burgers, and blue jeans. After the tsunami he stopped posting and we all assumed he had died in the flooding. that was a dark time on this forum.
"Washed from this earth, but not from our hearts" we had memorialized
but then he came back to us, our upnushi had survived! his will to succeed and love for the american way, which had taught him an iron clad work ethic bore him aloft on those waves, and carried him back home.
We love upnushi.
upnushi is love, upnushi is life
He returned to create the current iteration of the general chat thread (hence the butchered english title) and hasn't posted since. Our silently watching Japanese guardian.

literally spent all day working on this thing
oh god i would wear one of those
I know this is all just starting up, but I'd pay bookoo bucks for a kamikaze headband with a FP logo on it.

yep looks good
[editline]26th April 2014[/editline]
patches and armbands as well
The headband is actually a good idea. We might make that first since it's a little easier than a straight up patch. We'll get some material to make decent quality hand bands and we'll throw up what we come up with.
Also some of these designs are great. We picked up some materials today, different needles, thread, stuff like that. So we'll see what we can do.
If you made the headbands, would the red part be printed onto the white? I'd imagine embroidering it would be expensive, difficult, and not do so well with being rolled up for headband use.
Definitely interested since headbands are becoming a part of my wardrobe at a frightening pace.
It would be a white, cloth headband with a red FP logo embroidered onto it. It'll be fine as far as durability goes.
Alternate design would be a "F (Logo) P" sort of thing. I could even slap Facepunch and IFAP into Google Translate and use Japanese characters on either side of the logo to make it weaboo.

Here's our current workshop:

And what we've done so far tonight. We're going to be trying out some new material and techniques so we'll keep posting our progress.

We are almost ready to sell them. Gotta find a new backing material, a hot knife to clean the edges and wait for the first shipment of Velcro and than slap it all together to make a final production patch.

The problem I see is that embroidery gets very thick very fast, and if it's a headband you're gonna sweat like a mofo, and then fogging, and you know how that goes.
Nah it won't be that bad. It's just a small one inch FP logo on a headband and the embroidery isn't suffocating or anything.

for extra rage, I would totally put that patch on the team Vant shield
I'd literally pay like $10-$15 for that patch

Final production version. Edges are iffy because it's not done entirely, still need the velcro. We gotta set up a site, get postage stuff and all that other fun stuff still.
Look good to you guys? We'll try to make the speedsofter patch to see what that looks like next.

The border seems a tad thick, but that may just be me. Other than that, it looks amazing.
Like I said, the border isn't finished. We think that ultimately the velcro is going to be sewn along the border but if not we'll just end up trimming it down. It's not ready to sell in it's current form but we were able to make the embroidery tighter, get a decent polyester backing and now we just need the finishing touches.
[t]https://scontent-b-dfw.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/t1.0-9/1010195_10201905636590314_6657076688150886457_n.jpg[/t]
Here is the full line up of our samples so far.
Top left is a full embroidery white and red, just to see what it'd look like.
Top right is our current production patch. The border will be cleaned up and the backing you can see is wavy, we'll add adhesive next time to keep the backing flush and tight with the stabilizer.
Bottom Left was done with thicker thread and duck canvas, very rough, not so pretty.
Bottom Right was our original with thinner thread and duck canvas. The original production patch is just a higher quality version, in the picture it's harder to see but the newer backing really does feel and look better.
We'll try to get a head band design soonish. So our initial website will sell the; White/Red FP Logo Mk1, FP Headband (Two designs possibly), (Maybe) the Speedsoft patch and the remaining stock of diamond FP patches.
