Because the majority of people whom watch the show aren't "attention whoring fucks". Most of them are just normal people. I'll admit, that there is a massive misappropriation of talent going towards pony fan music, writing, movies, and even arts and crafts, with third party stuffed toys looking better than the ones Hasbro makes. But belittling them for enjoying it and utilizing their talent isn't something anyone really has the right to do.
