Because the OP is so much better then us, we obviously must follow his every word. getting out the house is all you need. i used to be a weedy little nerd (i guess i still am) but i just started actually invited my friends from school out etc and they did the same and from there you just meet loads of people and actually get a life while having fun
If a girl calls me a nerd for gaming I usually just announce that I am say something cocky like "So? Nerds are hot". Sure seems stupid but they really don't care. Confidence is the name of the game brutha. Also don't pack up your wii if you have one. I have yet to me a girl who wont play wii.

Also I have acne. But you don't even think about it really. If you are comfortable with the way you are everyone else will be to or they will have to deal with it.

One of the main reasons why I do nothing but sit at this PC and play video games / read web pages is that I live in a small town with nothing to do that doesn't involve buying shit from a convince store. Friends that have tried doing other things are forced indoors when winter rolls around and sit in front of their Xbox.
I am not the most nerdy person at my school, I know how to dress myself and have some self respect, though am often found in the library at lunch with my netbook browsing newegg.ca :)
