if i seriously have to witness Cindy hoisting the cup again i'm gonna flip my shit i hate Crosby so fucking much
Totally agree there, unfortunately it might happen on game six or seven back in Pittsburgh. :frown:
that ref call was utter shit like what the fuck
ugh what a weird flukey goal. Hope it's not the game-winner
can't believe they're going to fucking lose now because of that bullshit no goal
Shitty game to watch
Happy we won but that was a shit call by the refs, they need to be replaced with IBM Watson
Vegas got a hell of a center in Erik Haula, I'm just glad that they didn't poach Dumba or Nino. Wild are still mostly intact. I hope Seattle gets the next expansion team.
Stars used equipment sale was today. I picked up a Roussel and a Jokipakka stick because everyone else uses a really high flex. (Roussel's was the lowest I saw at 82)
anyone know if there's anywhere to watch a stream of the golden knights/canucks game today? NHL doesn't let you stream their channel on xfinity tv which is beat and I'd really like to watch their first go instead of just see the score
hockey is back lads!!!!!
Yay. Didn't know there was a NHL thread. How bout dem leafs?
I don't think im fully prepared for them not sucking. Thankfully Edmonton and Montreal are making up the deficit in Canadian disappointments
Leafs are gonna hoist the cup this year. Vegas is gonna make the playoffs. What an odd year this will be.
vegas is basically boned now with fleury and subban both out on IR at least until fleury is back. Dansk isn't atrocious but definitely not ready to be in goal at nhl level they've been playing surprisingly well but it's only been against lower tier teams. as much as I want them to do well their streak is definitely going to end come tomorrow with their game against the blackhawks [editline]23rd October 2017[/editline] also hoping the flyers can find their way into the playoffs this year. feel like they're only really lacking a consistent goaltender, lines are looking promising

I really thought it would take them years to be a decent team.

the bruins lost a game in under 0.9 seconds fuckin impressive lads

No NHL, no Russia, possibly no KHL players at all. Olympics are going to be weird this year.
Looks like Seattle is finally getting an NHL team
The Sabres have more wins then the Bills. What the hell.
Looks like Seattle is finally getting an NHL team
At this rate Quebec is going to have to build another new arena by the time it's their turn to get a team.
At this rate Quebec is going to have to build another new arena by the time it's their turn to get a team.
I wouldn't hold my breath on Quebec. Seattle has been the most likely candidate for a while since the West is still "missing" a team to have even divisions. Quebec's best chance is probably relocation and the most likely to relocate teams in the East are/were (probably) the Hurricanes and the Panthers. but Carolina's new shareholder seems determined to keep them where they are and I don't think there's really a big reason for the Panthers to move other than low numbers.
other than low numbers.
That seems like a good reason though. Florida's attendance wasn't great when it looked like they were going to be good a few years ago. Now they're back to being a bottom of the barrel team and their attendance is third worst in the league. (After Carolina and the Islanders who play in a badly designed undersized arena in a terrible location. )
Honestly, Florida doesn't need 2 teams when there are plenty of Canadian and Northern US cities that would pack the Arena for every single home game.
Canucks' season looks like its about to go down to injuries Glass half full, hopefully this can get us a solid pick this year that will solidify our future
