Speaking of government system i came up with my own some time ago, hell, i even made a word document on the subject, here it is lol: SELECTIVISM Overview: Selectivsm is a theory which a government is not given power by parental succession or by votes but by the specialization in the field that they are given. Method: There are two main groups in the main committee of the government, there is the leader and the deputy and the council of representatives, they meet monthly, but this could be extended or decreased constitutionally. The leader has full power over the nation but some powers can be excluded constitutionally (such as dismissing members of the council by him or herself), the deputy is active if the leader is absent from the committee and has almost the same power as the leader but needs to simply supervise the leaders plans and make sure they are accomplished in his or her absence. The council of representatives is made up of two groups, provincial representatives and representatives of fields of government (foreign affairs or defense for example), this group can make suggestions for the leader to improve these fields or provinces and can ask the leader to increase government funding for the field or province if there is a surplus in the budget, as a result of this there can be improvements to the nations economy, defense and overall influence. Management: To ensure that all of the members of the committee are competent, especially the leader there is a special approval rating for each member of the committee, for example if the leader is corrupt and is abysmal at managing the government the committee can choose to remove the leader by voting, this will be done by a group of people known as the representatives of selection who will overall monitor their performance in the committee. Selection: If the committee needs a new member, the person to take that position can be chosen by a group people who are known to be incorruptible, these are the representatives of selection and these are two people who will have the responsibility of choosing the person, one will choose and the other will supervise the other to make sure they are not choosing people due to any special ties with the person they are choosing, this will reduce corruption. The new member will be chosen by criteria of: 1.Their qualifications 2.Their overall agenda for the nation The first part of the criteria will be conducted by seeing their overall records such as employment and university qualifications and seeing if both were successful. The second would be by interview to see if they are ideologically desirable to ensure their agendas are not conflicting with the nation's agenda and to make sure they have an overall good plan for the nation. Once the person succeeds in both of these he or she will be given the position.

I actually came up with the same idea once before. I think it could work, definitely not today though. I figure it's more or less the direction society is heading in. Btw, all the "Well what if I legalized rape!?!?" posts aren't really arguments at all, the whole point is that the individual get's to decide what's appropriate because 1) "what's appropriate" really is a completely subjective concept unless applied to only one person's judgement anyways, and 2) it's private property: no one is forcing you to enter private property, and disclosure of the standards of a certain property would be mandatory, by law. However, I do disagree on one point, the government would only proceed against people criminally if the person broke a public law, not the law of one's private property, ie the government won't recognize your "steal my cookies and get the death penalty" law.
