Oh, just to be safe - Are we allowed to use voice clips from random audio? (Which isn't a remix or vocals from a certain song)
:argh:
Can't upload shit without the rest of my house being affected with high pings.
Dude please don't talk about repetitiveness and then recommend daft punk. The good electronic artists make non-repetitive music.
Daft Punk is great, repetitive or not it's fantastic music.
you can't complain about repetitive music because historically repetitive electronica was made for people on mdma
it's repetetive becausenmost electronica is designed to mix in well...
Count me IN.
did you just say daft punk is bad
did you really
Differing opinions. Get him!
no i kno ur just joking
Already made two Main-Stream DNB tracks. Can I upload them?
Already made two Main-Stream DNB tracks. Can I upload them?
One of them.
Why cant you just make the whole thing with unlimited slots and just several "CDs".
Because if we make it unlimited tracks then nothing is going to happen, people will write themselves up and then with no deadline or any pressure won't finish, and the CD will be delayed or abandoned due to lack of interest.
Trust me, this is the best way to deal with this. Deadlines and set number of tracks = People will work harder, and make the songs better.
Once again, only one entry per person.
So, this may be a question that has been asked before, but I searched trough the OP and didn't find it, does the genre matter?

it doesn't
I thought you'll choose the better track. Well, okay, I'll load the track I like.
He doesn't listen to the tracks :v:
My connect is actually too cheap to upload 21mb's wavefile, so I made 320 CBR mp3 and uploaded it.
http://rghost.ru/4290770
bandcamp doesn't accept mp3s, need to be a .wav.
Convert it?
It is idiotic to upscale an mp3 to a wav. There are plenty of upload places that will allow enough upload room for the file.
Goddamnit.

Catchy yeah, but as far as electronic artists go they're nothing too special. Great hooks but Imo they dont have much depth.
it's all just adagio for strings
and on mdma anything with a beat will sound like auditory sex
Yeah, the melody in the tiesto song is really nice since it's adagio on strings. But the beat and everything else just sounds like something he did in 15 minutes in fruity loops.
It's exactly the opposite
This is a music with no depth, imo

It's too generic, I don't know. But then again I'm a huge fanboy
Tiesto, deadmau5, guetta etc. - all shit.
I'm not trying to flame, its just how I feel.
I think I'm gonna submit this:
Firebug
My point is Tiesto's originality
[editline]11th February 2011[/editline]
I concur
Deadmau5's best work was RAT, with stuff like Brazil, I Remember and Faxing Berlin, which I really enjoyed. Then on For Lack of a Better Name only Ghosts 'n Stuff and Strobe were good.
Nowadays he's pure mainstream generic shit.
[editline]11th February 2011[/editline]
And that's what I love about Daft Punk: say whatever you wanna say, they aren't generic at all.
[editline]11th February 2011[/editline]
My fucking father liked Interstella 5555
First you say you like ghosts n stuff and then you say his new album is pure generic mainstream shit? Ghosts n stuff is probably the most mainstream song he's ever made. But I guess it's not the music that has gotten mainstream, it's just that he's famous now so he's not cool to listen to anymore.
