Then yeah, stick DoomSoulCore(remastered) on there. It is my undisputed masterpiece. :mmmsmug:
Going to need the .wav for that.

K, gimme a sec.
By the way the vocals are by Marvin Gaye and Instrument used was a pair of keys. Other sounds created prior to it by me.
Guessing it's not too late to start an entry, will have a go.
Gregah, I'm pretty crap at these Uncompressed formats. Which type of Wav would you say is best/most convenient for you?
32 Bit Float
16 Bit PCM
8 Bit PCM
?

I'm not too high on remixes, I've had a couple of friends who have had legal issues with remixes before (non-profit too) and as mentioned in the OP ; No remixes.

Well you'll get the best sound quality from a 32bit float but I hardly think there's that much of a difference betwen 32bit and 8bit, go with 8bit :)

I'm not a big fan on people updating their tracks, but if it's only some minor changes it's ok. I assume that's the case here. :)

I've sent you a message that contains a 32bit float version.
Soundcloud has a fast download speed, but if you desire I'll upload an 8bit version too.
Sorry, no remixes. I'm a bit anal about that :/
Yeah, my 8bit version was butchered during encoding. So is the 32 bit version fine?
Only if that track isn't a remix (that means no added marvin gaye vocals).
[editline]25th February 2011[/editline]
And in other news ; We're soon hitting 10 000 plays on the CD, ~2,9k have been listening to it in full.

Fair enough. I'll create a version that seems like an interlude to the album or something, without the vocals.
Great, looking forward to it :)
yeah okay, throw my song in. should i send the wav to you in pm?
Yeah, or post it here if you want people to hear it ahead of the release.
Hey guys, I was thinking of doing a raffle between all the contributors when this is done.
What do you think? I don't have much to offer, but a 5$ steam game is still better than nothing right? :buddy:

I just had an idea. I'll post it up here in a bit.

I can throw in another fiver for that :)
Ok, so about my idea: Transition tracks. Little 30 second or so little ambient pieces to string together the songs, plus an intro and outro. I could create them all, but it would require knowing the track listing a little while in advance, which I don't think is a problem.
I already have ideas for some of the transitions, so it shouldn't be hard to do.
Made a new track for my spot. I didn't want to edit down something I had already done, so I decided to make something different.

It's called Mind Over Ice.
Sweet, glad to have you on board man :) Now, just enable download (if that's the .wav) and we're golden.
That's just the MP3, I'll send you the Wave in your inbox.

It's a pretty neat idea, but I don't think it would be a good idea for one person to make all the tracks. Otherwise you're talking about something-teen songs, if not more, all by one person. Plus, if you're making them all, you're probably not gonna spend as much time on them than you would if you were making one song. Get a bunch of people to make them, and if there isn't enough time, just scrap the idea altogether, since there's no point putting the release back just for some 30 second songs - if they can even be called songs at all.

I've got a few little 30-second or so ambient-type tracks that I can edit a little bit so I can use them (I usually make them whenever I get bored, which is all the time), and I shouldn't have trouble making some more from scratch.
If it doesn't work out, then we won't use the transition tracks. I just thought it would be cool if the songs flowed into each other more.
There's also a month until release, so I have plenty of time to make them.

I'm just worried that they're all gonna be fairly samey and won't be distinguishable from one another. Plus there's the fact that on the credits the repeated name Harmonizer would take up about half of the page.
Unless you don't name the tracks, and there's just "Additional tracks by Harmonizer" or "Transition audio by Harmonizer" or something like that.

I like the idea of having a couple of the guys making these tracks!
:siren: People who are interested in making ambient tracks to fill in between the songs, give me a PM! :siren:
They should be ambient fillers that are up to 30 seconds long, I will wait a couple of days to see how big the interest is so that I can divide so that every member gets to do his share of ambient tracks between the songs. This is going to have to be made once all the tracks have been sent in, and I'll provide you guys with the tracks you're making the fillers for so that you can make it sound fluid.
Its been soo long, I should have a short demo of some stuff later; I'm sorry for my delay.
