Is it too late to change my submission? I just finished the alternate version of the other song that I posted in the last thread, and I think it would be a much more suitable song to submit to this collab. -snip, need to edit it a bit-

Sure, I'll let you do that. Be aware though that I'm going to be a bit hard on changing tracks the closer to the deadline (and depending on the numbers of tracks have been sent in) we get to prevent people from sending in some rough sketch just so that they have a secured place on the CD. Minor changes are accepted though, as with the previous CD I won't listen to any song before it's been officially released so I'm just going to have to take your words for not making major rehauls. I think it's reasonable enough.

Put about 8 hours of work into this today. Still adding and fixing a ton of stuff. The guitar solo is badly improvised, mainly due to exhaustion. After the solo a whole other part is planned, I just haven't gotten it down yet. Thank God the deadline is further back because it's going to take me a while to finish this. No mixing has been done on it. I put it through an Ozone 4 mastering preset to smooth out a lot of the punchiness. I should be able to finish this by at least march. Should I repeat it a few times and go onto something else, try strumming it, or a new progression completely?
