When is it? Im willing to go for it. Also where
upstate NY. it's like a 9 hour drive for us, not bad imo. 3 long op, June 29 - July 1. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline]
Also, if you come we can have multiple M1100's in a single squad and be the best ever.
Well hopefully. Redwolf is taking fucking forever to ship it. [editline]10th April 2012[/editline]
Our squad is tan
So are we running 3-color DCUs? Cuz we have to match right?
So my platoon leadership guys are basically giving you guys the green light, but not for sure yet, we're definitely trying to get a few more people total at the moment.
Okay. We'll probably be registering later this week or next week
Im still getting my kit togther. I got some of the parts, on the way to my house, and need to be purchased. Still need to get: -MK43 - tan plate carrier w/ MG role pouches.

I'm trying to get all my gear in place by the end of May, so I can get in one or two days of CQB in all my proper gear and weapons. Let's see, I need: ~Kydex holster for my Hicapa, about to pay for. ~3 dump pouches, one for both used and unused shotgun shells, and one to hold a CO2 tank. ~Like 3-4 lipos so I can be good to go all day/night/forever ~More MP5 midcaps ~Secondary rig to switch to when I switch to pistol and MP5K, when I become exhausted at night. ~External hydration carrier that somehow attaches to my smersh. ~M1014 kit. ~Possible dual wielding of M1100 revisions for maximum killy shooty. ~More maruzen shells and o-rings, as well as another prototype carrier for those revisions if I get them. ~Boots ~Tan headgear ~ESS turbofans ~flashlights and shit. ~2-4 slings ~other assorted stuff I'm sure I'll need
I got here just in time to post my list. Electric Kill Light (Red) x2 Revision Fan Goggles Spare Batteries x2-3 AK Rig DCU / AK Mag Pouches DCU Combat Shirt SERPA or Safariland Holster Flashlight 123 Batteries Leg Rig Flashlight Pouch Belt Tan Knee pads Tan Patches I've been taking things off it as I buy them. Basically what I've already got: RAID DCU Top and Pants and Helmet Cover Khaki RRV and RRV Backpack Tokyo Marui XDm I haven't gotten -that- far but those items cost $120 and $287 respectively. The next purchase is the goggles and SERPA. SERPA holster alone is $50 and I may want to get a real SERPA leg rig instead of the Chinese one I have to put it on yet and Revision Goggles which are like $150. After those purchases I'm looking at like, $20 for batteries here, $7 patch here, $15 pouch over there and so on. [editline]12th April 2012[/editline] What IFAP'ers are coming with us to Blacksheep by the way?

[editline]12th April 2012[/editline] What IFAP'ers are coming with us to Blacksheep by the way?
Protip: You don't want any droplegs if you can avoid it, this is a long game with lots of leg work. Try to get your Serpa a belt mount if you can. Currently talking to Fish, Felix, and Back_Slash, as well as talking to MEF command about bringing them along, it seems good to go, but I don't know if we'll all be in the same squad, unless we get enough people to allow us to have an oversize squad. Right now we're trying to go from 41 people in 3 squads to a minimum of 44 people in 4 squads. If we can get like 2-3 more people(nonIFAP), I can get all of IFAP in one squad most likely.
I don't know how you guys mount pistols on your belt with a rig. I guess it's because I'm shorter but I can't access it that close to my vest no matter how I position them. As it is I ride my SERPA as high as it will possibly go. Drop leg was just going to be for magazines, so I figure I can ditch it if I have too but considering these plasic mid-caps are essentially weightless I don't think it will be a huge issue. I do have the SERPA belt and MOLLE mounts though so I'll bring those with me. Once I get my RRV setup, holster and pistol in the mail I'm going to start running the kit at my local field to work out any bugs.
I need to pick up: -DCUs -more magazines -a couple more batteries -more mag pouches for ALICE (don't think I'll bring the lbt1961a to this, it's kinda limits what I can carry) -a bandolier -maybe a TM Glock + 2 mags (been having mag issues with the 1911) Should be p. good with that plus my existing setup I'll bring my FNC, have my M4 as a back-up, M1100 as a back-up back-up.
What model Glock? I have spare 23 mags laying around I'd lend you. I really got to go to the field this Sunday. Need to have the tech switch me to Deans.
i just throw my glock in one of my double ak mag pouches, fuck your fancy holsters
im a poor communist who cant afford anything quality made in the land of freedom
Whatever floats your boat, Pinko.
Man, I wish I could go to Pine Plains with you guys but I'm gonna have work from mid-June all through July.
What model Glock? I have spare 23 mags laying around I'd lend you. I really got to go to the field this Sunday. Need to have the tech switch me to Deans.
Glock 17. I don't think TM makes the compact models
I need DCUs A DCU cover and I'm going to have to survive on battery D:
I need DCUs A DCU cover and I'm going to have to survive on battery D:
You're gonna need more than that my friend. Minimal checklist: At least 4 midcaps, 6-8 is the best. Hydration carrier batteries (trust me, one just will not last) DCU's boots Quality eyewear. (This is the most critical, as you're sitting in a building with minimal ventilation. Everything fogs really bad). Nice functioning gun shooting under 400fps with a .25. In our squad, you need to be able to CQB with it. Vest type device to hold gear. At least 4000 bb's, .25g's are the best on average. Some sort of last resort backup gun, which I can probably have your back for. Cash for admission. See what else you need and if you can get it by the end of June.
I have 5 mids and one high cap. So I might have to get some more mags then. I probably will have all this by then so.
I have 5 mids and one high cap. So I might have to get some more mags then. I probably will have all this by then so.
Sweeeet. Hicaps are not allowed unless you're a SAW gunner, so maybe another midcap/box if you have cash when you order. Also, forgot to mention that a speedloader or two is really important, since you will have downtime to reload at least one mag after we secure a building. [editline]12th April 2012[/editline] Also, super important: red dead rag Red chemlight or red light for death at night.
Would an mg36 qualify for a saw gunner?
I think we are only allowed a certain number of SAW's in total or something. Most of us are being designated certain rolls. I'm a Medic. I'm actually more than alright with this role, it's something I can probably do-ish.
what are the gear requirements?

I actually wear a medic patch on my gear next to my FP patch [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Too bad I can't bring my 10/22 to this. It's over 450fps with .32s tho :I
SAW's are max of 1 per fireteam/2 per squad. MG36's are also the most fussed over SAW weapon due to all the crap surrounding it not being used and basically just a G36. You need every detail right for it to count. More importantly, if you're in our squad we'll be clearing buildings at any possible moment, so we only want the one SAW we have. I'd just run it like a standard G36.
