Yes, I want to wait 48 months for the recession to let up
i'm not saying it'll take 48 months, i'm just saying it will take far longer than 4 months, and regardless of who entered the office, it wouldn't have been done in 4 months. you're being horribly unrealistic, and living in a fantasy world if you really think a recession could be fixed in 4 months

It really just blows my mind.

He pushed a ~$800 billion bill through in a month. You're telling me he can only spend $80 billion in 4 months? He's trying to break the system.

Not to long for a normal "checkup" like doctor, it's the specialist's that play hard to get(orthopaedics, etc.). They could be anywhere from 6 months to a year. For comparasion I could call up my orthopedic doctor right now and set up an appointment for next week or the week after that(or next month depending on how busy he is).
@Nyaos
Well from birth they said I would ether die, or be a vegetable(then after that they said I would be a :downs:). Nether happened. I was born with my hips dislocated two weeks premature. They threw me in a cast and set me on my way not bothering to check if I had early signs of avascular necrosis, after being in an incubator for a month and getting accused of being a downs baby. sitting here 17 years later with a dead hip, and a dieing hip, because of avascular necrosis. Current doctors said it could have been prevented in the early stages. Which we tried to do in Canada when my hips started to hurt as the necrosis got worse, Canada took some xrays and sent me on my way saying nothing was wrong/come back when it's worse. I feel I was not treated enough, and ultimately my life has taken a blow. I also had a deviated septum(pretty much a broken nose) from birth, as well as bad leg circulation(Cause of necrosis), if these have anything to do with my treatment, I will never know.
@Mr.Mcguffin
Oh sure, make me feel like a douche. :(
Anyways, let's just drop this. Go ahead and rate me dump or whatever, hell i'll even help you.
i highly doubt that, at (according to another of your posts) 15 years old, you gave two shits about how much your family spent when you guys were with the canadian system, because it wasn't coming out of your pocket
What are you even talking about? we've probably spent way more money with the US System than Canada. Hell, we had a 200 something THOUSAND dollar bill when I had ecoli. Luckily the Government paid that one, we were on a Government retailed trip when I got ill. (moving from Canada to Texas actually) . We can afford it (most the time) and will spend any amount of money to cure health problems.
We're dropping this, this is why facepunch debates end up in a closure because everyone will just press their views and piss people off. I will no longer respond to anything related to this. End of discussion.
You can't be open to both sides one side is too retarded to be open to.
My parents are very left wing. If I even told them I thought republicans were right, it would be like I was coming out to them. Now I haven't formed a concrete political stance yet, and my parents know that. Luckily they've left me alone about it, but recently, my dad came up with the idea to force me to watch these 2 movies that he said would change my life. I've looked them up, and both movies are strong anti-iraq war documentaries.
The movies are: "The Ground Truth", and "Body of War". Now all the people who said good things about the movies are obviously left wing, and praise it as an eye-opener. All the people who say bad things about the movie are obviously right wing, and call it propaganda.
I don't want to just close off democratic views, but I wanna be open to both sides, so I was wondering if there were any documentaries/movies that leaned more towards right wing ideals instead of ham handed commie circle jerks.
I'm a conservative, but I don't go around openly about it. A lot of my friends are Democrats and I respect their opinions even if I find them too ambitious and foolish.
But one of my friends, who converted into a Republican about a year ago, told me to watch American Carol.
It's a great movie. Went on my top 10 list. I'm not one for political movies, but American Carol is definitely a great movie.

How about you look for documentaries that AREN'T biased in either direction?
Durrr

Thanks for not recognizing that they mean essentially the same thing.
Don't "pick a side". Just believe in what you believe in. Independent free thought for the win. Even if you don't believe most of the right's beliefs (And if you do I seriously question your intelligence) don't label yourself as Conservative. Label yourself as an "Independent thinker who can think for himself without going along with whatever side believes in"
Morning guys! :) Hahah.

That's me in a nutshell. So I guess it's all not too impossible.

The whole 'born in Kenya' thing is dumb, neither side has enough evidence for anything
Are you retarded?
I'm pretty sure that their have been numerous times in Obama's life where he's shown his birth certificate, particularly not long before he was fucking inaugurated.
Not to mention pictures of his birth certificate were posted on the net.
And lastly, Obama doesn't need to prove he's American born to you, you need to prove that he wasn't born in America.

It's seems to me that you have a very weak notion of ideology and politics. This has lead me to believe that you've already taken a conservative standpoint, because it's natural for teenagers to rebel against their parents.

Just tell them you support every word of the constitution to the fullest extent and believe "translating it in modern terms" would be blasphemy.
They'll probably shoot themselves. Scratch that, liberals don't have guns, they'll slit their wrist with a butter knife.
Leftist and Rightist are pretty much like Bloods and Crips, they only exist to fight each other. If I were you I'd just consider what makes sense to you and not worry about what people might label you.

I hope that was sarcasm, because the next person to tell me I'm anti-gun because I'm a liberal gets shot in the face.
