My opinion on GBB anything (without an external gas reservoir like a paintball air-tank):
GBB Rifles:Not worth it, cool idea, most of the time it's badly executed and an AEG can always outperform them. HOWEVER: A DMR rifle is a good use of this technology because you don't need a really high ROF or a massive mag capacity in as a marksman or sharpshooter or whatever you want to call it.
GBB Pistols: Fantastic idea, keep going with this.
GBB Smgs: Another good idea, KWA's Mac 10s are very nice to use as a sidearm and a prime example of a good idea gone great. Especially since an AEG of similar size wouldn't do as well (in power and range).
GBB Shotguns: Great idea, lets get some of these going.
GBB Machine Guns: Another cool idea, would be interesting to see and hard to execute.
Yes I know it did. But u do need good gear.
Gear =/= gun. By that logic I could buy a real CIRAS and some real TAD or Crye stuff and go out with a Wal-Mart springer and kill everyone.

yes
There's Google you know.
that reminded me of let me google it for you http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Gas+Blowback+Rifle+Reviews
but in all seriousness GBBR's are useless in the UK, too cold, its not all about gear, its about the player having fun etc. but if you want to really kick ass you want a worthwhile gun and gear (or atleast stuff you enjoy using, who cares how well you do aslong as you have fun)

I have fun with a JG M16 that barely works and almost no gear. I'm lucky to get one kill but I still have fun. I'll have more fun once I play a game with my AUG though.
Dark Samus, that's good for him. He's a sniper, occasionally a Rifleman.

Yes, the only time when I had to preform the role of a riflemen was when i had to jump out of that zodiac and cover my brothas.

yeah im just living off rentals in airsoft now and im absolutely loving it despite all the problems with the rentals on site
I don't play airsoft, I play GAS BLOW BACK.
Just ran 2 mags worth of bbs through the WE M14. It's actually a lot more accurate than I thought it would be. The kick is quite noticeable too, as you'll see once I get the short helmet cam video uploaded.
Honestly I love GBB's. My CQB loadout is going to consist of the WE M14, the KWA MP7 with 3 mags, and my TM P226 for close quarters where a pistol is required. Should be fun.

I likes ur Style!!!
My team is thinking about switching to GBBRs. My friend was the first with a WE M4, he's got 4 mags for it and is trying to find more. He's also thinking about picking up a KWA MP9 once he gets the money. Then I bought the WE M14, making me the second guy to pick up a GBBR. One member is planing on upgrading the hell out of his G19 that's in the HERA carbine kit and use it as a primary. Another might pick up a WE SCAR later down the road.
We aim to be the loudest team on the field lol.
Quick helmet cam video of the M14. Still being processed so the quality isn't all there yet, but you should be able to view it in 720P later.
Bro gear includes your gun and everything you use. But In my oppinion it is the person that is the best.
Love me some bro gear
Does this "Bro Gear" include abercrombie&fitch shirts, board shorts, sandals, and steady supply of bro brews?

Someone really should make a douchebag loadout.
Someone really should make a douchebag loadout.
There is one. Apparently, it's everyone who wears Multicam.

Complete with white oakleys and a monster/metal mulisha sticker on his gun.

I have a Metal Mulisha shirt. I have no clue who or what they are. It was gifted to me because it had an ACU'ish pattern with a PASGT helmet on it.
There is one. Apparently, it's everyone who wears Multicam.
Oh right there's that one too.
So I'm not the only one who dislikes Multicam?
So I'm not the only one who dislikes Multicam?
We don't dislike the camo, we dislike how the majority of Multicam users are elitist pricks. At least that's what I think.
wtf does camo have to do with GBBR's guys? Lets keep that to the general discussion.

I think I'm with Kawaii on the hate boat now.
GBBR's are ok, my brother had a KJW GBBR but it wasn't a very consistent gun so he sold it and went back to AEG's.
Yeah, I do prefer AEGs. Though , if I had the money, I'd probably buy a GBBR, but the price of a Gas Gun, mags, gas and everything is just too much.
I personally would only prefer a GBB Pistol, and would like my rifle to be an AEG, unless I was doing a very accurate Milsim, but even then I could just get a normal cap magazine for an AEG. GBBs require a lot of maintenance so I'd prefer to only worry about making sure my pistol was in working order than having to worry about both.
I've found that AEG's require more maintenance than gas, plus AEG's have a hell of a lot more parts that can and will eventually break down. Plus I'm just fucking fed up with opening a gearbox or 2 before every other game now, that's what made my friend switch over.
The main concern with GBB's is the accuracy, always has been. It's one of those things that AEG's will beat GBBR's at, but once GBBR's are made as accurate as AEG's I can imagine there's going to be a lot more GBBR users. With better gas efficiency and capacity you'll start seeing more consistent FPS, which will help with the accuracy too.
