You don't stop homosexuality when it's been around since forever. A species does not phase out homosexuality, it phases out the species. An exception is when that species can change it's sex with no reproduction impairments, like that fish.

I just want to put this out there. Why is having a child the only way to contribute to the species? A gay man or women can do a huge number of things that benefit the species without needing a kid. By your logic, impotent people shouldn't be allowed to marry and should be victims of prejudice.
