Trying it out right now, for anyone interested, this is what tap code looks like: .. ... / . ..... / ... . / ... . / ... .... H.........E........L........L........O
...where's letter K?
...where's letter K?
Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that. Here's a quote from Wikipedia: The tap code is based on a 5×5 grid of letters, representing all the letters of the Latin alphabet except K (C is used to represent K).
You'll need serious dedication and time to learn everything properly. Why not use that time to actually study. .___.
...where's letter K?
k is for gays
Instead of taking the time to learn Morse code, just make a simple paper airplane and throw it at your friend. Invest time and get good at it so you can hit targets perfect and your made! [editline]10:27PM[/editline] Wow my name is .------. how creative [editline]10:28PM[/editline] Thanks Morse code
wow my name is .------. How creative
-- .. -. . / .. ... / -. .. -.-. -.- ..--. or ... .. .. .... ... ... . ..... / .. .... .... ... / ... ... .. .... .. ... . ... . ... [editline]07:21AM[/editline]
Then you would constantly be flipping your pencil
Not if you held your pencil horizontally. Just act like you are tapping your pencil when really you are sending a super secret message.
Imagine, you are taking a test. Your friend is across the room, and you are stuck on problem 4. You tap your pencil lightly to say "Question number 4? Question number 4?" You wait a few seconds. Then you here light tapping from across the room. You decipher it and it is the letter B repeating.
Okay, heres how it would really go: You tap "Question number 4?" and your friend receives it, he then taps to you the answer, in which gets misconstrued because of the nervous kid that sits behind you that won't stop tapping his hands, pencil, foot, what have you. You are given your test back the next day, the teacher gives you an F and on the bottom it reads, ".. / .-- .- ... / .. -. / - .... . / ..-. -... .. / ..-. .- --. --. --- - "
I actually have the Morse Code in my notebook a long time ago, Still, it's pretty cool of you posting it here.
eh me and my friend made our own simplified version of morse-code for use in tests. ~How to ask~ Cough = Question Number of pencil taps = Number Yawn = Over Pencil tap twice (quickly) then Cough means "say that again" (if you didn't hear it right, or if you're double checking) ~How to answer~ Clear throat, then tap the number for the answer Not really worth it though. It takes forever to give out messages and you're better off just using that time thinking about the answer itself than trying to decipher it.

You aren't trying to cheat through the whole goddamned test [editline]10:53AM[/editline] Maybe like 5-10 questions
.-. .. -... . . - --- .-- .- ... .... . .-. . --..-- .-.. --- .-.. ..--. Translated on my own sheet(did not use that website)
You aren't trying to cheat through the whole goddamned test [editline]10:53AM[/editline] Maybe like 5-10 questions
No I mean what if you need the answer to question 99
No I mean what if you need the answer to question 99
Well we only did it on one test and it sucked so we never really tried it again

_ .. _ ... I only know that from muse's starlight :D
You should learn PoW tap code. It's easier to learn and can send messages faster. Prisoners of War used it to communicate to each other when they couldn't speak.
Definitely! You can literally learn Tap Code in one minute, whereas Morse takes hours to learn: ABCDE FGHIJ LMNOP QRSTU VWXYZ Notice that there's no K, so use C instead. Just remember the letters A,F,L,Q,V, as in American Football League Quarterback Victory. Suppose you hear 4 taps, then a quick pause, then 2 taps. You think A...F...L...Q, then after the pause you think Q...R, so you write down "R" (or just remember it). Use X for a period, and I guess Q would work for a question mark. To start a conversation, use the 5 knocks of "Shave and a haircut" (KNOCK knock knock KNOCK knock), and the other person replies "knock KNOCK" (2 bits) if he wants to talk. If you're listening and miss a word, knock a few times which means "Please repeat the last word." After receiving a message, knock twice to let the sender know you got it okay. PoWs would knock several times quickly to say that the guard is coming, so wait till he leaves to continue knock-talking. Abbreviations as in texting are used to speed up the conversation. You can also flash a light or reflect sunlight with a mirror, flat glass, shiny plastic, aluminum foil or metal to someone even miles away in a direct line of sight, or even blink or tap someone with your finger for secret messages, any countable signal really. I prefer to call it the Affle-Quiv code because of the AFLQV: .... .... . . ... ..... . ... ... .... . .... . ..... That being said, Morse is more efficient if you're going to use it a lot. [editline]4th November 2015[/editline]
Then you would constantly be flipping your pencil
Yes, better use 2 pencils, one in each hand, or use Tap Code, which only uses one type of signal, just dits, no dahs.
Or just text under the table like get gud fucking morse scrubs this is the 21st century.
