shit bro
i mean it was good but you must not have seen a lot of films
Just watched the movie. It was very excellent. They did a great job in giving you a feeling of desperation throughout the movie. Although I didn't like the scene after the credits. Is there something I'm missing, because I thought the movie would've been better with that scene left out.
just saw it today
was a good movie
lol someone said after movie "i want my refund" it was like
dumb lady, there was so many hints

[sp]Well that much is obvious. I'm saying that we didn't need the scene to tell us that. Unless the wolves by some weird instinctual thing didn't attack him afterwards, we all knew he was going to die.[/sp]
oh, gotcha, misunderstandment. the lady that walked out asking for a refund its like [sp] well he made a lil monument of the wallets, and read the poem i wonder if he's going to die hmm[/sp]
mannn, how did that movie make me feel so sad for burke
[QUOTE=Itachi_Crow;34538318]shit bro

i've seen click, toy story 3, and many other sad-as-fuck films, but for some reason, this movie made me shed two manly tears while toy story 3 and click only managed to make my eyes water. for some reason, this movie was more emotionally impacting than any other movie i've seen yet.
Saw it yesterday.
Pretty good movie, ending was quite depressing.
I'm surprised people are saying this is good, because honestly, the concept is laughably ridiculous.
How? A bunch of dudes surviving an accident and surviving against the Alaskan wilderness. Doesn't seem that outlandish to me at all.
Sure the wolves don't act realistically but honestly who cares, its not like they're played up to be super monster wolves or anything.
yeah you probably thought it was all about wolves
a lot of it was the weather condition, too

Yes I understand it's probably not actually focused on the wolves so much, but the trailer and ad campaign literally markets this film as Liam Neeson vs wolves.
The trailers were really misleading. I went in expecting a mind-numbing action flick and that is not what I got.
It was good at what it was (Drama, thiller, I guess?) but I was just sitting there in the theater going: "Wow I hope this gets better, this situation is going from bad to worse, this is fucking bleak, wheres the action?"

he's not superman in the slightest, these people get their asses handed to them pretty hard
[editline]5th February 2012[/editline]
liam neeson only directly confronts a couple of wolves and with the exception of one he's never alone when he does it

especially for this movie, trailer =/= movie
Also, it may just be me, but didn't [sp]Henrik seem underdeveloped? For a guy who didn't have much of a backstory or any further development, I found it odd that he was the 2nd to last person to live. I wasn't too moved when he died.[/sp]
neeson having to [sp]talk that guy into his death[/sp] was intense as fuck
Disappointing and unrealistic. Liam Neeson was good, though. To me, he seemed to carry the movie.
The CG Monster-wolves were really stupid. They could have been replaced by aliens from the way they acted, and it would have been the same. (Actually that sounds like a pretty fucking awesome movie).
But that's just my opinion, I'm no movie critic or anything.
