So original! Can anyone here that played the beta tell me how good it is?
Very fun. It had bugs but compared to Battlefield 4 might as well have been flawless. The gameplay had a noticeably different pace, with the lack of heavy vehicles and guns doing damage to most vehicles you saw. The Hotwire game mode is incredible when both teams are equally skilled. It takes a lot to pull me from 32/48 player conquest but I can totally see Hotwire being my go-to mode for Hardline. Overall was very pleased about the beta. Don't know if I'm going to pick up the game at launch though, too many other games. [editline]9th March 2015[/editline]
I played the beta, that's very untrue. There's like a 1/50 chance of flipping a cop off when you spot them as a criminal. There's a bunch of rare, hilarious reload animations. You can play songs on the radio including "WHOOP WHOOP DAS THE SOUND OF THE PO-LICE" as you pop 40-mils at the po-po. Just to name a few, that's just in the beta. It doesn't take itself very seriously.
Just the general gameplay feels different. Like you aren't running around as a squad pushing objectives and fighting tanks while getting strafed by helicopters. It's you and a friend in a muscle car flying around corners with your buddy leaning out of the window firing RPG's and grenades.
So original! Can anyone here that played the beta tell me how good it is?
hotwire and hiest mode is fucking loads of fun, vehicles are great because RPGs are used as a weapon pickup, and plenty of gadgets and perks that make the classes more distant from eachother. also the engineer class is no longer the assault class with a rpg due to them being forced to only use smgs. Its the best battlefield since BC2 tbqh.
The Beta was kind of fun, but I don't think this fast-ish Battlefield gameplay really fits the cop theme. Its just not what I'd expect from a police game, slow and tactical is what I want, what really made these shooty shooty cop games special. (or just the swat games? dunno) Does anyone get me here?

I might be wrong, I wasn't in the beta or anything. That being said, it looks like fun. I definitely want to check it out, at least. I've always liked heist themes but I think I might enjoy this more than Payday since it's all PvP (i think?)
In what way shape or form is this a "Gameplay" trailer? For those asking how it is- I won't deny that the second beta was quite a bit of fun. The first beta was fucking disgraceful. Once they implemented the slightly improved netcode and gave the weapons a bit of character in their recoil patterns and what not for the second time around the game played a lot better which is what people need to be focusing on. Sure, the chase mode is fun- for about an hour. The type of people who will play the game for hundreds of hours won't be doing it on the chase modes. I forsee anything other than conquest being sparsely populated at best within the first couple months. The actual gameplay feels decent in combat. A little hesitant to compare it to something else, but the gunplay feels more like Battlefield 3 than anything. The biggest issue I have is the vehicle physics. They are straight sloppy, manage to feel slow, and the reaction when two players collide at all is entirely broken- often with two vehicles straight phasing through one another. My point is that while it is actually a lot of fun, it's nowhere near worth the sixty dollars plus dlc they are asking. I paid like 35 USD for this on G2A. I still feel like I overpaid a little based on what the betas were like and the fact that premium is coming as well, but I'm a fan of Battlefield.
Not really seeing any Bad Company vibes, seems like it takes itself way too seriously again.
DONUT SPOTTED!
To me what makes Bad Company special is the fact of how exaggerated everything is from the movement of the player to the animation and sound of the guns rather than the comedic nature of the single player I miss Bad Company's knife animations
bf hardlines beta is the first bf i had fun in since 2142 gonna need to find a way to get this soon
Thought it was pretty boring tbh
So much angry and edginess in the first few posts. It's actually pretty fun. I enjoyed the MP, especially the decreased time-to-kill.
I'd seriously pick this up if it was anything other than full $60 price
Played a little bit of the beta, but my PC could hardly run it. I do love the concept though.
I'm more interested in the SP than MP, Battlefield's multiplayer gameplay has fallen off for me, had been since BC1.

It felt like there was an objective match and deathmatch running simultaneously, and neither were fun.
They really should have priced this at Far Cry Blood dragons levels, it's far to expensive for a game that reuses a lot of assets honestly.
I had fun with it. Though I am still uncertain whether or not I will pick it up.
too much shakycam i still wanna get the game though
