I scored 6 too, good :v:
Hmm it's raining out of my window at the moment, but I'll keep an eye on it. As for finding the right people, I'd just going to leave it to chance and hope it happens by accident, I have no idea what I'm gona do for year 2 though since halls will be out of the question.
If you don't have anyone you want to move in with I'd look at notices and stuff advertising spaces in student houses. Personally I would go for a bigger house because there's more chance of you finding people with something in common there. As for meeting people there's always the usual advice of joining clubs. Who knows, you might meet people you like on this teamworking project.
I think I might have this and if anyone mocks it, they can go fuck them selves.
OP has points you do not.
I feel more comfortable if I talk over the internet. In real-life it is like "Uh-oh, wtf should I say?". My problem is lack of experience and interests. I've never went to a disco, restaurant etc alone. I've almost never had a good conversation with someone, unless they want to talk what I want (gaming, PC, and home-made bombs). I tried the test, but it never showed me the results (-.-). I'm one of the persons who like it short and simple, no complications. I avoid talking if it isn't needed in the particular moment (that makes me good if i'm captured by enemies and force me to talk to them precious information :P). Just, do something you really like. Whetever it's redtube, gaming, programming complicated programs etc just let it be. Trust me. It will make you feel a hell lot better.

I scored 15 :smug:
I scored 30. I'm slightly anti-social but I've been trying to talk to people. It's far easier than you think.

Probably harder if you don't know anyone you get along with well at the end of the year.
In my experience with working with a boy with Aspergers, it wasn't so much that he was shy or didn't like talking to people (in fact, it was quite the opposite), but that he did not understand any sort of subtext. Sarcasm and jokes were totally lost on him because he took everything seriously. He didn't pick up on cues from the other kids and would jump into conversations and try to talk to everyone. I just looked at the wikipedia article on Aspergers to see if I could find something to explain it better, and this part is really fitting: "Unlike those with autism, people with AS are not usually withdrawn around others; they approach others, even if awkwardly. For example, a person with AS may engage in a one-sided, long-winded speech about a favorite topic, while misunderstanding or not recognizing the listener's feelings or reactions, such as a need for privacy or haste to leave." I'm sure it's different for everyone with Aspergers, but just being withdrawn and not enjoying talking/working with others would not lead me to believe you have Aspergers, from my limited experience.

I think just by that I can rule out aspergers, I still feel very much alienated though, I don't understand why people like the things they do or even do them in the first place, though I'm sure there doesn't have to be a named disorder for that. It is strange that I got 35 on the ASQ but pshh.
Aspergers is just a way for people to give up responsibility for a social life. And it's a great excuse if something isn't going well in your life. In short: Socialize, communicate, GO OUTSIDE.
Its not that easy, Well for me anyway's :frown:
Back when I went to school this kid in one of my classes had assburgers. One time, the teacher decided to be nice and bring his popcorn machine in from home and make everyone popcorn while we watched Jurassic Park. So this kid (We'll call him Jeff) had like 6 bags of popcorn all while slamming this shit in his mouth at the speed of sound. Suddenly he gets up and starts complaining that people were throwing popcorn at him, when he actually just made a massive mess because he can't slow the fuck down while eating. And he's really really really really into Yu-Gi-Oh. Cannot stress that enough. He literally failed pretty much every single class he ever took because all he would do was sleep or think of the perfect counter deck for whatever undead cardboard army he was facing later that day or whatever other shit they do. He also practiced his Naruto fighting style in the hallway between classes. So if you do any of these things you've probably got the assburgers.
Scored 23 it's just a stupid test, don't take it too seriously.
Hey my friends go to Portsmouth Uni, they're second years doing History.
Ok that is definitely not me. I think just by that I can rule out aspergers
That's one symptom of AS. Perhaps you just don't have that.
I got a 12 on the test. This is a huge suprise do be, due to the fact that I have been diagnosed with Asperges by a professional (though when I was about 5/6), so I was expecting to get at 32 or above.
People like Ulillillia (google him) have Asperger's, not you.
Ulillillia does not have Asperger's he has severe OCD.
I got 21 and I've been clinically diagnosed with Asperger's. However, I agree with this It's my fault I'm a social reject, If I actually tried I might have a decent social life.
True true, I have several friends who are also clinically diagnosed with asperger's, and they have made huge strides and are actually cool and interesting people to be around. This is because they really wanted to function in society, and through remarkable commitment and effort, they have succeeded. The opposite sex are even attracted. But if you don't try and don't want to, then you languish, never achieve anything, and remain unfriendable.
Agree: 2,9,26,41,43,46: 1 point Disagree: 10,11,14,25,29,30,34,40,47,49,50: 1 point Score: 17 The only material thing I went crazy over was the combustion engine but people are stil first <3. I don't know why but being social in high school is way easier then in middle school.
I got 25 :froggonk:
Heh i got a 4, holy shit. Surprising. I know how to talk, converse and empathise. I know how people feel through the internet, its crazy, i can talk to a friend on Messenger and know he is down, for whatever reason, it's subconscious or something. I'm really mercurial in the way I am though. I think I might be bipolar like my dad. I just randomly am super happy doing something then the next minute I'm completely not, bored and feeling alone. I at Uni at the moment and I went out all freshers week, and got blind drunk it was fun, but i really enjoy being sat in my room, playing on the xbox with my flat mate, watching american football, or playing it, and reading around my course. Sometimes i'll feel lonely and other times i wish everyone would fuck off. It's weird. I should probably look into it sometime.

just program some friends man
i like to walk side ways and try to bight my ear and touch my wrists. my score was 46 is that bad?
That test is a load of shit[
No, not really.
Score 6
Nah it's just called anti-social. Aspergers is made up bullshit in my opinion for most people
Anti-social fag here, scored 17, dead average for males. Being anti-social won't make you score much higher.
Apparently I was diagnosed with Asperger's. I learned how to solve Rubik's cubes (2x2 through 7x7) and I learn random things, like butterfly knife tricks. So op get on the Asperger's boat. Also did the test and got 28. Also breaking your automerge.
That test is a load of shit, if your trying to counter it then your score goes down considerably.
No, really?
I got 35, the rest of my family scored in the range of 12-17. Interesting test...
