Low budget = Drama. they cost practically nothing, and depending on who the writer is, you can easily create a compelling story. Also, make there be a significant item or object through out the story, and make it appeal to your audience. teacher will go apeshit over it. [editline]11:42PM[/editline] Once more, also, is it just the two of you?
Once more, also, is it just the two of you?
To begin with, yes. We can use friends and classmates as actors though, but they got their own projects and all, so we gotta time everything right and stuff.
make a movie like Paper Heart if you've seen it, where you go around interviewing people about something like that. not love, but like diarreah or murder or something.
What you're going to be able to do depends on your skills in the field. Is this for High School or College or what? If it's High School it really doesn't take much to get a high grade. I just splashed out some cash on a half decent camera, got my friend to fall in a lake and I got an A* in GCSE media.

Although our teachers are a bit strict...
Sucks
It got an A* back in the day :v:

Make Avatar 2. Only better.
Film yourself eating cereal in black and white. When your teacher gives you the wtf face, tell her that she wouldn't get it because she's been brain washed by the evils of Kellogg's tyrannical influence.
5 Days a Stranger. The whole thing's set in one house, it's got a good storyline and it doesn't need very good special effects.
i have a few ideas but considering your running on a low budget... how about a bunch of people who get stuck on a metro/train/whatever you call it where you live when it breaks down and each person explains their story of how they got there to pass the time.
A music video.
I second this. You can make a music video on a pretty cheap budget, like this Paradise Lost music video, which someone made a few years for his media/design class. The song ain't that good, certainly not one of Paradise Lost's best, and besides that, its a cover of a song by Everything but the Girl.
Be creative.
do something about a guy whos live goes down the shitter when he tries drugs. Include classical dramatic music and closeups
Something about a car thief... and parkour using camera trickery.
Watch the warehouse scenes from Reservoir dogs for inspiration and do something similar, might be cool.
This.
Do something like Clerks if you can write good dialogue. Or you could do something like Stalker. Just wander around in the countryside, throwing bolts and discussing philosophy. Then break down crying.
That's fucking inspired. Dibs. So we are thinking of doing like either one, or many trailers, because we made a trailer for our previous movie, and our teacher told us he liked it alot. So yeah. Now we just need to know what to make our trailers about.
A guy running to disarm a bomb Have a guy running(just his legs), then cut to a timer counting down, then cut to guy running and do this until it gets to 1 second, have him bust into a warehouse, run up some steps into a room, then have him open a microwave and say "I hate that alarm when food is done"
Make Crank 3 where he has to keep his temperature up because of the burns he got in Crank 2 and make him burn himself alot or something
