Also, you're building stuff quite fast (milkdairy)

my automerge
Wouldn't it be better to just use the system with:
4 small, 2 med, one big for a starting planet, and one of those 3 per new planet? It's what we've been doing so far.
WSF is a seperate non-diplomatic faction that I'm using to protect that trade station because I don't want it to be under Tumbria's allegiance or any established country/empire/whatever.
The Faction started with those ships, and the Station itself isn't that very big. (It's being upgraded constantly though, and I will add a little to it every once in a while.)
The WSF will never do anything except maybe respond to some communications, protect the station in all general definitions, and react to attacks on the station or the Sentinel fleet.
-EDIT-
The WSF doesn't really need more than 1 type of ship anyways.
I am currently doing that system for my normal faction
(Oh and all merchants no matter allegiance are welcome to the station since it is public, so come on down :3)
I'm talking about the fact that you have 5 small ships, since 4 seems like a more balanced number, and makes more sense considering you can trade a medium for 2 small.
Sure. I'll trade them off next declare, I guess.
Sorry for the delay! Uploading now.

The terraformer ship is completed!
Noticing the strange stop of time in the battlezone, the TPN ships head out.
(Will return when battle starts.)
Noticing the AGU ships, one of the medium ships heads to recover and relocate them.
They place them in a station orbiting the sun, which is capable of sustaining itself, but does not posses any space-faring technology other than the old transport ships which are docked on it (The yellow dots).
We don't know why you were orbiting that planet, but we warned you not to enter our sectors. You have been provided a station, if you enter our sectors again, we will destroy you.
Meanwhile, the rest of the fleet heads towards the Tumbrian and TNS fleets.
They send a message to the Tumbrians:
Greetings Tumbrians. We are the TPN, we have been there to protect your planet even before the rise and fall of the Arregythian empire.
We would advise you not to attack any other factions at this time, especially the Taendrians, who we have sworn to protect. Would you still like to be under our protection?
And to the TNS ships:
(going to assume we have not met TNS in the system yet, because you deleted your planet.)
Ah, greetings TNS! It is good to see an old ally in these war-ravaged times.
We see you are attempting to terraform the desolate planet near our allies' system. Therefore, we would like to confirm friendly relations, as we do not wish for enemies so close to our borders.
Declare after Greg. Also, are you trying to upload with a llama, Greg?

Trade just seems to increase constantly at the World Trade Station. Merchants from across Terra Magna come to the station, and some form trading guilds. One of these guilds decides to go see if they can solicit any sales from the militaries not so far from the station. They attempt to contact the TPN first. A few WSF T35's undock and tag along the trail to make sure everyone gets to and back safely.
Hello! We are merchants from the World Trade Station! Would you be interested in any products we have to offer?
Just name your needs, and we will get the stuff!
The Merchants also contact the Trantimirian ships.
Hello There! We come from the World Trade Station. Would you like to buy anything from us?
The Tumbrian Navy docks somewhere in Tumbria for now.
Meanwhile...
In the corner of the galaxy near Aerthia, where desolate planets and dead stars lay...
Life appears. Clumps of organic life forms appear. It is unsure what they are, or what they do, but they are there, and that matters...

In response to the TPN hail.
It's good to see a friendly group in this star system. As far as I'm aware this is the first time a TNS fleet has reached this system. You are correct that we're beginning terraformation on the planet. We've found signs of a previous civilization but we cannot find any name for the planet as of yet.
Oh, and those merchants want to sell you stuff if you didn't notice Face.
Declare.

The clumps of life begin to join together.. They form something...
Frightening.

Pictureless declare:
TS-Delta responds, having intercepted the messages from the World Trade Station:
Greetings! We do not advise trying to trade with TPN military forces, but if you are interested in trading, we suggest you join the trade route to TS-Delta!
Declare.
Oh! Thank you, Delta. We will notify the Station authorities for security, and then spread the word to the other guilds, and aimless traders.
A trade route is set up to connect into existing ones, which lead to TS-Delta.
Meanwhile, a sudden flash of thought is sent into the TPN fleet's minds, as well as the minds of those near the life forms, particularly the people of Aerthia... a brief voice of declaration in the grimmest manner possible.
We hunger.
-EDIT-
Can someone tell my why the unknown planet the TNS is settling on is just a recolored, inverted version of Terra Magna? What the hell dude.
Turn 14
Declare
The fleet Is soon dispatched to stop the lifeform advance, due to the nature of the message, they were not there to help...

Turrets are deployed at Aerthia aswel interplanetary warheads are rigged to struck down the lifeforms.
A big ship could be seem constructed at the planet's surface.
(Big compared to the "Knights", It Is a medium ship)
The message Is sent back to TS Delta:
Uh, greetings Mr. Richardson, we are the emergent Planetary Monarchy of Aerthia. Can you please redirect me to your foreign communications personnel?
Mhhh, is it me, or do those organic things reek of Oneiroi?
Anyway, pictureless declare!
Certainly. Just a moment...
Greetings, this is Omni com central of the TPN. How may we be of assistance?
Fucking
Oneiroi.
Oh god the memories.
Anyway, declare.
I think ship limits are a little stupid really, it prevents stuff like epic space battles.

All TNS fleets return to the plane and terraformation begins. The first thing to happen is the destruction of all satellites around the planet. After that they begin purifying the water. The planet is still yet to be named.
Yeah, but otherwise it'd become one giant clusterfuck of ships.
I think ship limits are a little stupid really, it prevents stuff like epic space battles.
I'm inclined to agree, I'm in a fight with a fleet much larger than mine and I can't expand my fleet because of the limit.
Nonetheless, if I am outnumbered and outgunned, I'm still going to try to put a dent in your numbers, ragamuffin.
Quick declare!
[editline]14th May 2012[/editline]
Also, there's always the option of retreating, Dmaster.
Well personally I'm not going to follow the limits and just try to stick to common sense fleet sizes, don't know about you guys.
Quick declare!
[editline]14th May 2012[/editline]

True, but where's the fun in that?
I may also go to common sense fleet sizes, and might just double my current fleet size.
Common sense fleet size? That doesn't sound like it would work at all.
We already have common sense battles, which does allow for longer and funner battles, but fleet size?
It's like we're all afraid to lose, it's just a game, you can start over again.
And doubling your fleet size? Most fleets already take up huge amounts of space, this would make that even worse.
And when there's no rules, then everyone will go the highest amount of ships they can get, heck, if
you double your fleet size, I'd do the same. Can you imagine how much space that would take?
[editline]14th May 2012[/editline]
Then there's the fact that we can already make ships quite fast with the common sense system, we just can't make everything common sense, it wouldn't work.
Once I reach a certain size, I wouldn't go past that. I'm thinking my fleet would be 2 large, 8 medium, 8 small.
Anything past that would be overkill to me. But if you want to stay with the fleet limits, I don't see a real problem with that, and I would be happy to comply.
Ohshi- forgot about my declare. Upping now.
Also, I personally don't want to change it, but if someone makes a vote where every participant in this thread votes on, I'd say do it.

The TPN ships move back to the homeworld.
(Removed the lifepodshipthings)
The terraformer starts doing what it does best. (10 turns until planet is finished.)
The TPN contacts the WTS
WTS com central, come in. We can assure you that the trade routes are safe, and thus request that you take your ships out of our sectors.
[editline]14th May 2012[/editline]
Oh, forgot to remove the terraformer at Omni. Can the next person to declare remove it?

It forms.. Grim echoes throughout everyone's minds...
We seek.
Declare.
"You dare fire upon us? Your species shall pay with their own blood!"

The superweapon severely damaged the front of the Tombship and living metal works to repair the breach in the hull.
The Necron fleet mobilizes a counter attack, the Harvest ships attack and exchange laser fire with the imminent threat. The Mass Particle whip is fired, and a massive stream of antimatter particles hits the enemy superweapon. The very matter of the weapon is overwhelmed, to such a point where the disintegration containment field of the particle whip cannot be held back any longer.

A large explosion that ripples the entire star system can be observed. Chances of the enemy superweapon's survival is minimal. (But I'm sure a really strong shield would suffice in protecting it.)
I'm actually taking notes from Oneiroi so I can draw the spore vines right >:3
[editline]14th May 2012[/editline]
Declare after Dmaster
I'm not gonna be able to respond to any battles tonight, Dmaster.
Night y'all.
You heading off, or something?
Declare after Milkdairy
I did a pretty mess involving medium ships, small ships and red beams. >:D
Sorry for the long wait, finished now.
EDIT: Damn, I forgot to remove greg's terraformer. Sorry about that.
