declare Aqousta appears, a small icy planet where life has originated near several points where magma from the inner layer of the planet comes out on to the surface. The intelligent beings of this planet, the Aqoustans, have found ways to harness the immense energy of the heat from those areas, and are now branching out their scientific knowledge into a new world: space. The Aqoustans have started building a small satellite to orbit their planet and take samples of their surroundings. The satellite is planned to be equipped with infrared telescopes with working cameras, and will relay information back to the main base. The building of this sattelite will take several turns.
Declare As the Oneiroi's defeat Is witnessed, a cheering and clapping sounds can be heard throughout the PMA's Remnants radio channels, everyone praising The Sector's effort against the alien threat. The "Paladin" and other forces falls back to Neyak... ... A huge machinery being constructed could be seem from space at Neyak... ... In the middle of carnage, many projectiles flew rampant towards what have left of Aerthia's before the Oneiroi's attack. The consequences of this were a big cluttered asteroid belt that the PMA dubs: "The Aerthia's Remnants"
Well, I'd just like to announce that I am rejoining this thread and I wanted to know if I would be allowed to start with a beefed-up, preexisting fleet, or would I have to build it?
Taking In account to what happened to me, I guess you can even make a second Oneiroi-like overpowered shit. Oh, and... My ships were greatly inspired by your sheet, awesome thing you did there.

Today's Forecast: Nothing.
I just lost a non-stop 2 hour worth work onto a sprite sheet I did for my new starforce... I'm... So... FUCKING... Pissed off...
pictureless declare: the Aqoustan scientists are 1/3 of the way done with their satellite.
Okay, I'm done. I warped in with a fleet since things seem rather, uh, hostile. However, I still need a place to host it. Any suggestions? [editline]ass[/editline] Also, are we still using my rules for ship combat? Like, AP and FP stats and whatnot?

Though your rule set were quite much well done I'd still preffer the common sense. Oh, and a host place? Try between Haeven and DE-598B.

Declare. Salumna silently materializes from near the center of the universe. It has just launched it's space campaign for a floating, movable civilization. Citizens are currently gathered at the center of the moon colony, watching in awe as a salstone building launches into the deep. It is inhabited by large, sentient salamanders with yellowish gold hides, and opposable thumbs. They have an obsession with wearing old things and hats.
Alrighty then, here's a kind message from me: DADDY'S BACK BITCHES After my prolonged absence, I must say I have returned to this thread as now that it is summer break, I am free to keep track of my posts easier. Anyways, here it is: The Coalition of Human Governments has detected a large amount of populated planets in this solar system. Obviously, it is much more than usual (the average amount of planets with sentient life, according to the Coalition Main Dataframe, is 0.0000002, meaning extremely rare. Surely something must be causing this massive anomaly. They first noticed the sector when a massive spike of free-floating organic matter appeared on the Dataframe. Now they have sent research vessel X-67-d (and a sizable escort fleet) to examine this solar system and make contact with the lifeforms here. For those of you who do not know the current backstory of these threads, here is my long-ass synopsis: History of the Universe Mankind is an old species. Very old in fact, and probably the most prominent to ever exist. Mankind quickly rose in the latter half of the 14th Aeon; humankind discovered faster than light travel through wormholes and other temporal anomalies. For 2 Aeons, the Imperium of Man ruled many galaxies (The Universe was young, and it is speculated that the only species' that ever discovered faster than light travel before humans died long before humankind came into being). the Imperium was a functional republic of predominantly humans, but it later expanded to include Xeno races as well. Late into the 16th Aeon, the Imperium of Man hit a crisis. The economy was being rapidly destroyed, infectious disease spread through the many planets, and Xeno races that had been forced from their traditional lands came back stronger than ever. The Imperium eventually dissolved, leaving hundreds of thousands of small empires fighting for dominance. After many Aeons, four major powers had risen in the Universe. The Galacians were the largest, with the GTU and NGA being in a constant war, and the transhuman NEO picking occasional wars here and there. The Galacians were a constitutional monarchy, with a functional parliament but a dynastic royal leader as well. The ruled several galaxies and became very large due to their willingness to cooperate with Xeno races. The GTU, the Galactic Trade Union, was dedicated to free trade and acted more as a Confederacy. It was a collaboration of many smaller empires stuck in a loose patchwork. The NGA, North Galactic Alliance (The Universe still uses terms such as "North" and "South" for relative direction on star maps, with an extra "Z" coordinate added) which was headed by the warlike Kalanians, grew to be a massive, authoritarian empire with thousands of Xeno and Human empires under it's control. The NEO (No records exist of an English translation for what the acronym stands for) was a transhuman empire that inhabited many planets. When the Galacians discovered a strange item on a relatively desolate planet, they stumbled upon what is certainly the most power item in all of history, a dark energy crystal. Dark energy crystals are massive amounts of negative energy compacted into a physical shape. They contain limitless amounts of energy that can manipulate the very fabric of time and space in ways never thought possible. The Galacians believed it was the key to success in reforming the Imperium, so they built a massive superweapon, known as the Nexus, which could generate black holes of massive size. The weapon was eventually destroyed by another secondary empire, causing a massive temporal rift that tore apart an entire galaxy! The superweapon drifted into the hands of the Scrin, a secondary empire in the war. The crystal was eventually retrieved, but the calamity that is known as "The Nexus Incident" would never be repeated, and the crystal was taken to a secure location. However, in the large planetary body known as Oneiroi (a large, organic mass that happened to be sentient), there were many dark-energy crystals found inside. These crystals fell into the hands of the various empires, and a massive war erupted to obtain them all. This was known as the Crystal War. The Crystal War lasted 4 Aeons, making it the longest war in history. It resulted in the deaths of an estimated 7 quadrillion beings and resulted in the destruction of an estimated 4 million planets. The Universe was devastated by the end. Few resources remained and even fewer people were left alive. The survivors decided that destruction on this level must never be allowed to happen again. The four warring races reunited to form the Coalition of Great Powers. They constructed a massive unit to house the crystals named the Centrum Universa. It was the most expensive and heavily guarded project in history. The crystals were used only for purposes deemed "lawful and just", such as research and energy. A new law was formed that specifically stated that the creation of any weapons with the crystals was outlawed and would not be allowed under any circumstances. Still, at the end of the 22nd Aeon, just as the empires had finally recovered, Xeno rebels launched an attack on the CGP and the Centrum Universa. The entirety of communications between the empires was destroyed, and the Universe "went dark". What happened to the Centrum Universa is still unknown. Communications were reestablished a few years later, but by then, with the Main Dataframe offline and it's data corrupted, mankind had lost much of it's knowledge. The attack also started a brutal policy of "Xeno cleansing", as human empires united to exterminate any and all Xenos, including humans who were not "pure blood" (Meaning they had either been hybrids, transhumans, or evolved in some way) Billions died as a result. A new order was formed, The Coalition of Human Governments, and their cleansing policy is still present. The Dataframe has been restored but the Dark Energy crystal whereabouts remain unknown. The universe in now 26 Aeons old. War, Xenophoia, Plague, and Death has torn a path of devestation through the galaxy. The amount of sentient beings grows fewer and fewer each day, and unspeakable horrors clog the galaxy. It is the 26th Aeon, and there is only War Damn that was a long write. Okay then. The Coalition of Human Governments Current Events: The Coalition attempts to establish contact with one of the human empires in this solar system. Their research is detecting a strange readout of unknown matter and this solar system is highly unstable.

Pictureless Declare : Mid-siege the AGU Hub-ship detects the new arrivals to the system, they make contact. [RADIO] Greetings, I am Admiral Louis. Although its good to see new arrivals we must insist that you assist us in our effort the eradicate the Synthetic Menaces that inhabit planet 'VEGONE'. [RADIO END] At the same time another message it sent from the Trade-Station above 'VEGONE'. [RADIO] Salutations, we are the Vega. We are being attacked by our creators and we request assistance, we can only hope that your kind are merciful and compassionate. Please, we need your help. [RADIO END]
Hey Bananafoam, awesome that you joined again. You do have too many ships though... Declare.
Yeah, I agree that that is A LOT of ships.
The TPN contacts the Necron:
As you may have noticed, a lot of new things have happened whilst we were fighting Oneiroi the second. We propose a ceasefire, for the time being, so that both you and us can focus on these.
(Basically, give us both time to respond to the stuff happening around our planets before continuing to fight.) The fleet splits up. Fleet one contacts the Vega's.
We've got your back.
The superweapon activates, and a gigantic "shield" surrounds the AGU.
AGU station. We have warned you many times not to enter our sectors, and you have the nerve to do it again, whilst attacking one of our allies! Deactivate your weapons, and we might allow you to relocate. This is your final warning. If you enter our sector again, you will be destroyed.
Meanwhile, the other fleet hails the new presence near neyak.
The communications workers show the old TPN salute. Greetings! We are the TPN. We promote peace and trade across the galaxy. We would like to know your reason for entering this system with such a large force.
Declare. Another Hub-Ship warps into the sector from the AGU-Home-Sector. It begins attacking everything around it. [RADIO] CEASE YOUR FIRE. WE WILL OBLITERATE YOU. WE MAY SHOW MERCY IF YOU GIVE UP NOW! [RADIO END]
By the way, that's a one way shield. Because of how the GCS-Crusader works, the shield is basically one big gravitational field. Anything that touches it gets launched to the center. (Thus weapons can be fired into it but just bounce back when fired outward.) Declare. [editline]3rd June 2012[/editline] Fleet 2 rejoins with fleet 1. The GCS-Crusader launches the ships into each other. The G-forces alone were enough to kill anyone on-board, let alone the enormous explosion.
Heh, "we will obliterate you", didn't I say that last time? *One of the personnel notifies the captain that he is broadcasting* Oh. Excuse me. Allies, we are under attack by AGU forces. We request assistance.
Also, the medium ship was damaged, but seeing as you have failed to tell us ANYTHING about those ships, I'm going to assume that that small laser didn't do much, let alone destroy the entire front-end.
That's a pretty beautiful thing you did to them, Dear TPN...
A voice echoed at TPN's radio... And when they didn't wait, heavily armoured medum ship surrounded by four Knight Class Frigates were by TPN fleet's side.
Let's cut the formal chatter off... Disobeying The King's will to not do so, The AGU turned out to be heretics when they tried to corrupt what once were The Holy Land of Aerthia with terrible genetic engineered demons. For this, they must pay the price and face inquisition. Allow me to join this battle for The King's will.
What used to be the carrier of all life towards Neyak Is now a deadly destroying machine. The PMA brought everything they got to aid the TPN against the AGU!
Pictureless Declare : AGU Transmissions are intercepted, [RADIO] HUBS! Please respond! We're sending reinforcements into the sector, we shall have our revenge! [RADIO END]
The TNS Command contacts Station X-76-D:
The TNS Command Station in Sector 1089 recognizes Station X-76-D and wishes to establish an alliance with the station.
-sneep-
Erm... The ships you're firing on are the ships I was trying to protect :v: The big AGU hub ships need firing on, but right now they're all destroyed. (Prolly more coming)
Pictureless Declare: The Necron Overlord agrees to the temporary ceasefire, and the fleet prepares to warp back into Veraiyah's orbit.
Oh uh... Just disregard that declare up there.
I have a lot of ships, but being a research vessel, the station cannot build any new ones. So there's a catch. I'll eventually get an actual planet soon enough and by then the fleet will likely be smaller. PICTURELESS DECLARE: The Coalition of Human Governments Current Events: The CHG ( There's a lot of acronyms being thrown around here, aren't there?) receives the TNS' proposal. [Radio] This is Coalition research vessel X-67-d. We have intercepted your message. We do have some background with the TNS and we believe you were an accepted secondary power in the Coalition of Great Powers. This is very good, as documents for a standing alliance likely exist in the Main Dataframe somewhere. Ah yes, here they are! However, our superior, Admiral Hurst, would like to have a word with you. [Admiral Hurst] Good Day Gentlemen, this is Admiral Hurst of the CHG fleet X-67. It is good to see that there is a currently standing alliance between our two empires. However, the Dataframe also mentions that you cooperated with Xeno-based empires and have neglected the cleansing policy. Be advised that if the alliance must last, you must break any ties to the Xenos in this star system. Still, we will have to deal with the Xenos later. There was a spike of organic matter preceded by some very strange temporal shifts in this star system. Did you observe any unusual activity in the past year or so? Well Gentlemen, I believe it is time for me to leave. Good luck in your voyages, and godspeed.
Declare. The Overlord broadcasts a message to all personnel in the system.
While it has been fun, our fleet is needed elsewhere, and we have decided to spare you living this once. For a much greater threat is attacking our home sector.
And as quickly as the ships appeared, all Necron assets disappear into whatever strange pocket dimension they incorporated into their ship designs. All Necron technology on Veraiyah leaves with them, and the Necrons leave the system without a trace. (Fear not, I will be back. I'm just going to be using a new race that I will add in a few turns or so.)
