Declare. Sorry for the long wait. I had to ge things figured out, and with this new mac ordeal my simplest declares WILL take longer, although not a whole hour.

The Tumbrian fleet undocks, with its new flagship, The T.S.S. Stagnant Tiger
The Tumbrian Empire is ready to back up its claim on unclaimed Varaiyah. We advise you refrain from entering the orbital region of the planet while this claim is still at hold.
The Stagnant Tiger is a Planet class capital ship, capable of housing several cities. It is able to create ships up to the medium class, and up to the small class without a further build time. It's powerful Fusion cannon is a mix of a lethal Anti-matter beam, and a de-stabilization charge, which can disable and and tear up some of the most competent ships out there. The Tiger houses its own economy and power supply, able to deliver supplies sufficiently to surrounding armies.
Oh, erm, Dmaster, I forgot to post my message when I trapped em in there.
Halt, unknown ships. You are entering the Gito sector. What is your purpose here?
[editline]7th June 2012[/editline]
Also, milkdairy, yoú have too many ships. (1 too many small ships and 1 too many big.)
Oh one more thing Declare

A sudden explosion of hydrogen fusion occurs, and a sun is formed in the eastern bottom corner of the galaxy.
While it is a new, small star, it will expand.
Wow this is pretty cool. You guys do these sprites yourselves?
Did OP post a ruleset for late joiners? I've never tried anything like this before.

Just Declare and add your planet. Obviously follow the rules from the OP too.
Milkdairy, That's just BS. I vote to skip that declare.
[editline]7th June 2012[/editline]
I mean, you just instantly make a fucking SUN for yourself, with no way of doing so, in the most god-awful position ever, then you say its going to expand? You do know that there are planets right next to it, right?
Plus, that's just a Photoshop brush that you used.
Also, you still have too many ships.
Milkdairy, That's just BS. I vote to skip that declare.

Sure.
But that ship is a planet. If I can't at least make up for that in the last 110 turns then oh well.

Suns expanding is a natural part of their evolution, so of course a newborn sun is going to expand. So long as he keeps it to that size and doesn't use it for anything terrible, I don't see why he -can't- add another sun. It's not destructive in any way.
Also that is not a photoshop brush. I've yet to see a brush that looks that low-detail.
Also, Milkdairy, that would be the bottom WEST of the galaxy, not EAST. Unless the map is upsidedown.
Wow , erm, your last two fucked up the image. Check Haeven in your first, then my superweapon in the second. Skipping it.
Also, sorry for the confusion.

Sprite update.
The TPN fleet moves towards the captured Tau ships.
Unidentified vessels entering Gito space, identify yourselves. This is your last warning
Not super related,
But I need your opinions on this faction spreadsheet.

Declare.

The two Merchant class starships arrive in Incolvusis's orbit.
Tau Merchant Class:
The versatile Merchant Class Cruiser is fitted with 3 railgun battery hardpoints and uses Tau Gravitric technology as a means to travel as fast as Warp speed and also as a means of shielding. However it lacks the speed and maneuverability of the Messenger ships.
The two Messenger ships hail the TPN fleet.
Greetings, we are the Tau Empire. We are crossing through this "Gito" sector as part of our mission to survey the surrounding sectors of our planet. Please be aware, our mission is peaceful and we have no intention to attack you or any of your allies. We hope to establish trade with other factions to gather more resources that we can use on our mission towards the Greater Good.
(Also Lux, if you are referring to the unclaimed desert planet to "crystallize" you should know that it's unclaimed meaning anyone can attempt to capture it.)
Quickie declare!
Btw, I'm currently spriting a new army based on the TEC from sins of a solar empire.

The shield deactivates.
[Captain Chmmrkt]
We see. You are allowed to explore our sectors as long as you stay away from ST-2.
...We do have a question though. Do you mean greater good for your people, or for all of existence?
(Note: ST-2 is the star Omni is orbiting. If you stay away from the GCS-Crusader, you should be fine.)
You might be able to convince my forces to join you, since I am planning to use my new faction soon.
The Tau fleet replies:
Our mission is to unite the stars in the name of the Greater Good. We seek peace between all species, not just Tau. However, we are willing to strike down the corrupted minds that seek only destruction.
The TPN fleet replies as well.
And what would you do to those who are not willing to join you, and might also be trying to unite the stars?
Conversation continues:
Those unwilling to join our Empire are none of our concern right now in terms of conflict. Being in our Empire is not the requirement of being an ally, but we are always actively accepting new species with open arms.
Quick question:
What are the diplomatic standpoints of the active people (Milk, Greg, Dmaster, Derp, Diago, and Banana)?
Quick question:

Tau are peaceful unless fired upon. Pretty much everyone is like that.
Pictureless Declare:
Two Messenger ships are being produced. (2 turns).
Declare
The PMA's terraformer redirects Itself towards an empty sector In the galaxy, between Haeven DE-598B and Station X-67-d.
The ship begins It's long terraforming preparations proccess...
This Is General Serger, TPN.
It seems the situation with AGU was halfway dealt with,
as for this, I'm redirectioning my troops towards our terraformer
so we can soon leave Neyak.
Still, we request that you move your fleet away from this hardware
for It's proccess Is extremely volatile to nearby matter.
The PMA communicates with The TPN as they move towards the APPGH to protect It from any harm.
At Neyak, many new models of ships begins It's developing stages...
So, do people still mind if I create that sun? I'll try to put a LITTLE effort into it.
Also declare.
I don't mind having the sun, but my planet isn't there, so I can't really give a valid opinion.

Suddenly, a strange glowing object where The Oneiroi creature died appears. It appears it has been there all along, but no one detected it until now. Those civilizations that are aware of what this is will likely flock to it.
As the Tumbrian fleet moves on to Varaiyah, Terra Magna erupts into war.
Nuclear arms are exchanged across the planet, and the United Republic is sucked into the war. Insurrections in the east are inspired by the war.
Incoming ships from Terra Magna to The World Trade Station is halted, and The WSF locks down the entire station, loading up weapons to full capacity.
It appears A nation of the Mainland Union has declared itself away from the Union, and together with several allies, waged war on Tumbria and surrounding nations.
Millions are dead in Tumbria within the first few minutes of action.
Transmissions flurry out into space in every direction, calling for help. Most transmissions carry an undertone of screaming civilians, gunfire, and explosions.
(Removed the star for now.)
Terra Magna's data is in-comprehendable due to the mass of interchanging data from the World Trade Station
I said it was picking up data, I said nothing about the scientists understanding all of it.
However, the Aqoustans understand enough to know that it is dangerous to send living organisms into space, and they decide to create spaceships that are controlled by radio signals. This will take approximately 7-9 turns. (there will be 5 ships to start out, and all of them are built simultaneously.)
Damnit it brightened the picture slightly. Barely but what the fuck is going on here,
Declare.

The two Messenger ships are built and join the Tau fleet. The Tau fleet leaves their home planet's orbit.
Meanwhile, a swarm of building drones is deployed with the assignment to build an orbital station of some sort.
Advancements:
Orbital Station. (6 turns)
A large ship is being produced. (8 turns)
Declare.

One of the Ansalai ships enters orbit around Aquosta. An Ansalai scientist isolates the communication frequency used by the mission control station for the satellite and sends the following message (in the native language of the Aquostans living near the mission control station, as determined by the computers aboard The Habitat):
Congratulations on your first step into the cosmos. We are the Ansalai. You are not only not alone in the universe, but you have found yourselves in a dense pocket of life. I am sure your scientists have found some oddly strong and well-organised radiations; that is why. We are contacting you in friendship. Our race was recently at war with another on the far side of the galaxy. When our home system was invaded, we evacuated our home world to the various stations throughout our star system and fled via wormhole to random parts of the galaxy. We are low on supplies, but not food or water or shelter. Although raw materials are our ultimate goals of trade, we propose first an exchange of knowledge. If you accept, there is no further obligation. This is not an uplifting. We wish only to give you the means to further yourself.
If you believe this is a hoax, you can find our ship in orbit. It is rather large.
--ugh, had to re-upload--
Your picture was resized. I can fix it.
Thanks, but I already got it.
Thanks, but I already got it.
That was quick, alrighty then.
Declare.

SOS signals all over Terra Magna continue to go out into space, calling for help.
Casualties at current are reported at 200,000,000 dead, and an unknown amount wounded.
The Imperial Fleet backs their stake on Varaiyah. The planet is now contested, and will fall into control in the next 8 turns.
Some pods are sent down, and a Fort is established.
Quick question:
What are the diplomatic standpoints of the active people (Milk, Greg, Dmaster, Derp, Diago, and Banana)?
Peaceful until planetary comfort zone is breached without prior authorization.
As in; feel free to pass by the planet, but if you hang around for a long while the DE-fleet won't hesitate to fire without warning.
