Your body has to build up an immunity to every individual virus/disease. You'd still do fine against minor colds and the like, but when something like the Flu or Swine Flu comes around, and if you catch it before you get vaccinated, well, you're SOL. And plus, as you age, your immune system naturally weakens anyhow, adding on top of the 'vaccine dependency'. That's when stuff like the common cold ends up being a big issue, or you end up taking weeks to become healthy.

That's not how immunity works. You gain immunity to disease by learning how to combat it, a weak immune system is one that never learns how to fight diseases.
All vaccines do is teach your system how to fight a disease without you actually getting it.
Your cells don't get tougher by fighting disease, they just get more battle strategies. And those can be gained from vaccines.
