It's interesting, knowing we have all had a hand in making the internet what it is today. We are all taking part in the evolution of internet memes that will last 10's, maybe hundreds of years.
I don't think a hundred years, I think in that amount of time the people in the future will be like, "... and these are the sort of things that they found funny."

And 100 years ago people expected there to be flying cars. In retrospect, things haven't changed much. Why should we expect them change much more 100 years from now?
2000s haven't been very good for me.
Nothing in particular I'd like to remember.

"It is the year 2000. But where are the flying cars? I was promised flying cars! I don't see any flying cars!!!!!"
The Internet is probably the largest progression in the past decade. We went from Geocities-hosted "websites" to Facebook and Twitter in just a few years.

Well the internet has only been around about 15 years total, but that includes the foundation of ARPANET (precursor of the internet).

Sir, I was gonna say the 2000s sucked balls and nothing good did come out of them. You corrected me, you are a good man and you should feel good.
It's not the end of the decade yet guys, that'll be 2011. 2010 is the last year of this decade.
Much like how people said the new millennium started on the year 2000 when it actually was 2001.

no. don't start spreading farts.
2010 IS the first year of a new decade, much as 1980 is included in the 80's and 90 in the 90's .
Hmm never really thought about this ... pretty deep and depressing :(
Tho 2000-2009 are pretty happy for med lots of fun stuff ;D
Playing WoW when it still was awesome etc :)
2010 starts of with a bang anyways SC2
Here is what sticks in my mind the most:
- Technology coming into more and more aspects of our lives
- The policewoman who began talking to me about suicide and why women shouldn't use wine bottles to masturbate.
- Taking and not doing too badly at my GCSE's
- 3 Relatives dying
- 2 Friends dying
- The UK moving ever closer to being a totalitarian state
- Two wars
- Time in the Army Cadet Force
- Moving into a better house
- My sister moving out
- Other random stuff i won't bore you with.

WoW was always gay, and the noughties have been pretty shit, some good bands, good games, technology but that's about it.
My rise to power.
I can hardly believe the it's been a decade allready.
I feel so old now.
I liked all the awesome games that came out over the 2000's, and the advancements in technolagy.
Actually 2g1c looks like 2010.
Coincidence? i think not!
10 years worth of shit...pure shit
If you think the noughties were bad, wait till next decade!
An inflation increase to 3%, VAT going up, taxes increasing by over 20%, just a general recovery from an economic disaster, yeh, the 10's will be a blast.
The surprising regularity with which people bitch about this decade.
The noughties was alright I suppose, I had no problems with it
but it is not exactly a golden age
It's been alright for me. I've discovered the wonders of drugs and alcohol :)
black
president
The global thermonuclear war was pretty rad...
Still no flying cars...
:saddowns:
Also, smurfy, I do believe steam has over 900 games, not 800
Almost 1000. 994 to be exact.
Steam could have 5000 games and my statement would still be correct :smug:
Two thousand and ten, or twenty ten? Hmm.
This decade hasn't really been anything special apart from the huge jumps in computer technology and music, which sadly has gone to shit. I can sum up this decade with one, if now cliche word. Meh, nothing that important personally happened in this decade. This decade is not very distinctive like the ones before it.. In fact, im going to go as far as saying that more bad shit has happened in the noughties than good. 9/11, Both wars, Britain becoming rather totalatarian, The Video Games scares, The rise of chavs.

Twenty ten.

I doubt the'd change that much to be honest.

African people or African Americans or what I'm confused
Horrible teenage years these 10 years were, thank god I'm in the late teens now. Not much until I'm a legal adult. :unsmith:
