The first guy that posted is the best so far, coming from a graphic designer.
Thanks :)
http://spleet.webs.com Something I'm making for a friend of mine. She asked, I insisted. It's to host her artwork and such. Clearly it's still in development. She wanted to see how it would look to determine whether she'd want to pay for it to be hosted and pay for a fresh domain. It's designed by her and myself. She supplied me with the initial "bunny" photo. Started from nothing, ended up with something. The "about me" page will end up having a stylesheet, but at the moment, since there's nothing to work with, it's blank. I also had "platinum-cube.com". A site I believe I peddled on here a while back, which is no longer hosted, but if anyone recalls it, it was fairly decent. I fit the requirements. As for the "Preferred" I am limited with PHP, to basic MySQL interaction. For comments or something similar. However for HTML, CSS, some Javascript, I am pretty well versed.

http://www.v1creative.com Hasn't been updated in a while, so here's a few more recent bits being done as real client work and not 15 year old bedroom "designer" work. They're all working versions too so there are parts that are incomplete of course. http://www.v1creative.com/clients/ofqhc/OFQHC_redesign_homepage.jpg http://www.v1creative.com/clients/synergylegal/synergy_legal_comp001.jpg http://www.v1creative.com/clients/synergylegal/synergy_legal_comp002.jpg http://www.v1creative.com/clients/winninghamconstruction/ I can pull together more work samples if you want, just shoot me an email: alex [at] v1creative.com Oh and here's another more typography focused design just for good measure: http://www.v1creative.com/02_full.jpg

Not a trained professional, but I have a few years on my neck. Personal Portfolio (Not done yet, haven't found time and interest to continue on design lately). http://www.shinychrome.net/ Sadly most of my work isn't online anymore. What I can do: Design websites with Photoshop. (x)HTML CSS PHP - Mostly front-end MySQL
http://www.sendernet.net That is my main site, http://prosportstv.x10hosting.com/ That is one I just finished for a client but I see in the mean time he wrecked it =/ I can do php, template work, all that jazz. But I am 17...so I don't know what your standards are as far as age goes.
Goddamn! You should be hired immediately!!!
ask kmartsqrl
I was thinking the exact same thing.

Thread is over , Kmart is the obvious winner here.
I could talk to my brother about it, he works for University Florida as a Programmer and Web Designer. That's got to mean something, and I've seen his work, it's pretty good. He's in College, 24, about to be 25. [editline]04:51PM[/editline] http://www.itsjamesmiller.com/ His website
Personal Portfolio (Not done yet, haven't found time and interest to continue on design lately). http://www.shinychrome.net/
Wow, I love your designs, especially the "Dark Thingy."
Right, that's it. Thread is over , Kmart is the obvious winner here.
Erm... or not? Let's wait for Garry.
I know a web designer who might be interested, his style is generally simple and very nice looking. I'll show him this thread when he's online next.
Not sure if you're still looking, but I'm a media integrator/graphic design college student. I'm 20. Basically we spend our days doing websites and similar stuff. I do contract work all the time but am pretty short on work lately. I know HTML, CSS, Flash/AS3, Javascript. I'm currently learning php, MySQL and 3D. Undertaking graphic design and typography classes, also video creation. Uhh, as for websites, I've done a lot but they tend to stay local on my PC, lets see.. www.ls-rp.com (I created that website, the HTML and the css. Not the PHP though. Although my version was much cleaner before they added the PHP) http://watwatwat.comlu.com/site.html is a flash thingie I made. (May take a while to load - BUT WORTH IT.) http://watwatwat.comlu.com/aura/index.html -- Did the HTML, CSS and some design touch-ups. I know that's not an immensely extensive portfolio, but really, I do CSS/HTML almost every day, just not always full blown projects because I don't have the time to do that for fun. Also, my prices are ridiculously cheap as opposed to general designers. Not out of lack of quality, but simply because I do this for pocket money, not as a living.
Just a question, Why does everyone do html, why not php or asp?(etc)
Php and Wordpress are the shit. They look so sexy.
Just a question, Why does everyone do html, why not php or asp?(etc)
I do php.
I do PHP (I'm also PoliticalM, 4th post or something), and WordPress, alongside HTML/CSS. It's just personal preference, I pretty much did everything I could in terms of markup (HTML/CSS) so I turned to programming with PHP.
I do manly php, working with grafic programms is not my buisness. (But HTML/CSS is no Problem :3)
I love PHP, especially the GD library. :D But I have skills in: (X)HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and some AS3. I also have experience as a graphic designer in Photoshop. As for websites, I can only offer my personal site: www.andersonmat.com The other site that I did completely from scratch was gmfiles.com which I took down because I realized exactly why garry uses torrents. ;) Fucking bandwidth rape. As for Wordpress, I have worked with it on my personal blog--which isn't up anymore. So, I have a basis for use with all of the predefined Wordpress functions. [editline]11:36AM[/editline] Also, I'm adept with using After Effects. :D
Just a question, Why does everyone do html, why not php or asp?(etc)
Those are completely different 'languages'. Html along with css is a language to make up your web documents and php/asp are mainly languages to connect data streams to the html so that the user can interact with the data. Html is way more forgiving in a way that it is usable to designers with not to much programming skill. Php and Asp are languages which need way more logic and understanding to work with.
Kmart and PoliticalM both have some really nice work. I also didn't know Kmart was from Portland.
