You should set up a floor plan so we can see how you want it
I already did I described it the begining of page 5.
I read parts of the thread here and maybe I completely missed it but do you already have a permanent venue picked out? Are you going to be renting commercial space? Have you priced that out yet? The biggest costs in a venture like this are going to be the monthly nut that must be cracked. The start-up cost can be saved for or borrowed for but the monthly costs will need to be tackled right away and it's good to know what those will be before going too far with a game plan. Things to consider would be monthly gaming licenses, rent, insurance, electric, and if your going to use the cafe software that is monthly as well. Oh I noticed that you had mentioned burgers and stuff, that sort of thing requires a license that I don't think you're going to want to get involved in. Snack machines and a coke machine should do the trick and maybe you could get an agreement with a local pizza shop too?
Well it would probably go something like this- a lounge in the front area, with chairs and tables(maybe some been bag chairs and a tv with a wii), the counter would be on the left side, the pc's behind the lounge area and to the left of the counter; then towards the back have the two 360's with projectors. Then a seperate room for the table top games. It might not be the best design but I'm no interior designer.
You should start looking at the places for rent, unless like I stated you may already have something and I just don't know. Once you have the place you could figure on layout. I should also add, sorry if I seem like a downer here, I'd just rather you had the facts before going into anything like this. The guy I knew failed after about a year and it cost em big time.
