It reminds me of trip-hop if trip-hop were really distorted and loud. Consists of loud guitar and digital distortion and some pretty rad drumming. One of the cooler things I've heard this year. Check it out.
This so frikkin awesome ! Poisson Soluble / Moisissure - Igorrr Genre: electronic, baroquecore, breakcore, classical, mashup Sample: http://adnoiseam.bandcamp.com/album/poisson-soluble-moisissure
I like this this thread a lot.
Gonna have to find all the links to the stuff I've gotten off bandcamp. I'll dump them here.

Found it on a thread on /mu/ by the artist himself. Listened to it, loved it and bought the LP and it even came with a message "Hi, /mu/tant :)". The album's a really space Avalanches like trip-hop album. It's got some really sentimental concepts I think and is as a result very beautiful. Crazy chill too.

Jesus, I have a nearly unlimited amount of free albums stored up. Give me a minute to organize them. arrange - new memory, Plantation, Five Years With The Sun, Quiet State, Paper Parts Genre: Ambient All of arrange's stuff is brilliantly composed. Most of his tracks are hauntingly beautiful and I definitely recommend listening through each of his albums. And while you're at it, download them - they're free. http://arrange.bandcamp.com/ BRONZE - BRONZE EP Genre: Indie Rock A neat little EP with some great recording. http://bronze.bandcamp.com Maelstrom - Koi. Genre: Experimental instrumental chillwave whatnot Some great sounds on this one - especially like the first track, Ginseng. http://collectivelanguage.bandcamp.com/album/maelstrom EmAy - Adam, Incorruptible, Mind Altering Dynamics Genre: Alternative Hip-Hop An excellent rapper and nice guy who raps about motivational subjects. Plus, he has an indie-ambient album, too! http://emay.bandcamp.com/ Girlfriends Genre: Experimental (don't know what else to say) I can't really explain this one. It's a nice listen and has some fun, happy sounds. http://girlfriends.bandcamp.com/ I Used To Be A Sparrow - Luke Genre: Alternative rock/indie Some great music right out of Germany. http://iusedtobeasparrow.bandcamp.com/ Nostalgic People - It's All Still Here Genre: Indie Possibly the most hipster album of the group. Excellent music. http://nostalgicpeople.bandcamp.com/ Scenic Square - Music In Our Homes Genre: Electronic indieish stuff Very reminiscent of The Postal Service. http://scenicsquare.bandcamp.com/ U.S. English - What Frontier EP Genre: Indieish. I'm bad with genres. Everything's indie. Both albums by this group are excellent, especially the first song of each. http://press.usenglishmusic.com/album/what-frontier-ep The Motel Life - Those Bruises, Retreat, We All Left Something Behind Genre: Alt rock All three albums are good. I'm too tired to put thought into these. http://themotellife.bandcamp.com/ Wake Owl - Wild Country Genre: Singer-songwriter folk One of my favorite albums from Bandcamp ever. http://wakeowl.bandcamp.com/ Oliver Tank - Dreams Genre: Electronic ambient The best album I've found on bandcamp yet. Haunting vocals and uniquely chilling music. http://music.yespleaserecords.com/album/dreams I've got 20 or so more, these are just my favorites. Somebody already posted Cloudkicker and Magic Man, so. Enjoy.
[t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/87/30/8730313-1.jpg[/t] Suffocate For Fuck Sake Genre: Post-Metal Sample: http://suffocateforfucksake.bandcamp.com/track/we-are-driving-through-darkness Post-hardcore style vocals on post-metal instrumentals. I'm not a huge fan of the vocal style normally but they're scattered throughout the songs well enough for me to find them enjoyable. [t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/65/49/654999494-1.jpg[/t] Telepathy Genre: Post-Metal Sample: http://telepathyband.bandcamp.com/track/fracture Just awesome post-metal. They just put out a new single too so I'm excited for a future release.
For Serious This Time - When You're In It http://forseriousthistime.bandcamp.com/album/when-youre-in-it-3 It's labeled as post-punk, but to me it lacks the harshness typical post-punk has. I'll just label it as emo again and try to not come across as a pretentious prick.

New favorite thread right here.
This stuff is great. And why is it that indie stuff always has amazing artwork?
Not to be a dick, but this is a total lie. The music is good but there are no traces of anything post-rock/metal or electronic.

I know this has been getting some love Dads - American Radass (This Is Important) [$7] Genre: Emo Sample: http://dadsnj.bandcamp.com/track/if-your-song-title-has-the-word-beach-in-it-im-not-listening-to-it I'm not someone who really listens to a lot of emo; the only song I like on American Football is the first track. But I saw this being talked about enough and gave it a listen and discovered it's really good. It's emotional but it's also funny so it isn't heavy handed or anything. It's a fun album and I think it may become one of my favorite bandcamp albums of the year. [editline]9th August 2012[/editline]
im never listening to anything you say ever again
I'll still listen to you :(
cool thanks :)
The Electric Moccasins Genre:"irish punk rock, rock & roll, garage rock, psychedelic rock, Downpatrick" All their stuff is free, so there's that.
[img_thumb]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/42/41/4241147320-1.jpg[/img_thumb] SORNE - House of Stone [PWYW] Genre: Freak Folk, Progressive Folk http://sorne.bandcamp.com/album/house-of-stone I don't really know what to call this because I've never heard anything like it before. The closest I can come to describing it is it's tribal sounding folk music with tons of layers of vocals, acoustic guitar, and no other conventional instruments. Almost everything else on the album is done with "found" instruments which create some interesting beats somewhat similar to trip-hop. There's no way I can do this album justice, just listen to it, it rules. [img_thumb]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/82/95/829571932-1.jpg[/img_thumb] Deafheaven - Roads To Judah [$5.99] Genre: Black Metal, Shoegaze, Post-Metal http://deafheavens.bandcamp.com/releases Something on the more intense side of "blackgaze" or whatever you wanna call it. [img_thumb]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/36/96/3696886076-1.jpg[/img_thumb] Some Mistakes - Glamorous Thoughts [PWYW] Genre: Melodic Hardcore, Doom http://somemistakes.bandcamp.com/album/glamorous-thoughts Melodic hardcore with a touch of post-metal/doom metal. Kind of a strange sounding combo but it's pretty subtle and it works well. RIYL Modern Life is War [img_thumb]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/21/99/2199595038-1.jpg[/img_thumb] The World is a Beautiful Place... - Formlessness [$1 but technically free just click the Mediafire link] Genre: Emo, Post-Rock, Twinkly as fuck http://theworldis.bandcamp.com/album/formlessness Just an awesome post-rock/emo band (think American Football or Mineral). Start with this EP but definitely check out their whole discography, especially the Deer Leap split.
[t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/76/40/764052637-1.jpg[/t] Echthros Genre: Doom Sample: http://echthros.bandcamp.com/ This is pretty awesome stuff. Randomly found this on Tumblr the other day, been listening to it since. I don't think these guys are anything but "Doom". They do some Drone, some Ambient, some spoken word stuff, but it's all really dark, dank stuff.
Ash Borer - Ash Borer/Fell Voices Split [Ash Borer's side only, but it's PWYW] Genre: Cascadian Black Metal/Post-Black Metal Sample: http://ashborer.bandcamp.com/track/untitled Some of my personal favorite Cascadian Black Metal or Post-Black Metal, or whatever you want to call it. It has really great energy.
I've seen SORNE a lot, gonna have to check it out.
It's definitely interesting to say the least. It also helps that Morgan Sorne, the mastermind behind it all, is a fantastically fucked up person.
