[t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/16/35/1635149172-1.jpg[/t] Brian Grainger/Coppice Halifax/Milieu Genre: Ambient/Drone Sample: http://briangrainger.bandcamp.com/ - http://coppicehalifax.bandcamp.com/ - http://milieu.bandcamp.com/ Brian Grainger has such a massive collection of ambient music under his belt that it would be impossible to listen to all of it. Spread across three names and tens of albums the guy just pumps this stuff out. Hardly any of it is free to download and some of it you can't even buy off the Bandcamp page but it helps me sleep at night so it's not bad. He also made the soundtrack for the game Eufloria under Milieu which is how I first found out about him.

Great Caesar - Rearview Genre - Some kind of indie rock jazz combination. http://greatcaesar.bandcamp.com/track/rearview It was played before the EA press conference at Gamescom and I loved it, bought it as well.
[t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/32/89/3289166634-1.jpg[/t] Jupiters Genre: Instrumental Metal Sample: http://jupiters.bandcamp.com/track/io Really awesome instrumental metal. Fast paced. I think it's all done by one guy so kind of impressive in that aspect. [t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/18/93/1893404301-1.jpg[/t] Walkers Genre: Hardcore Sample: http://walkers.bandcamp.com/track/only-child Hardcore band. One of the guys in this band does the above music as well.
[t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/31/00/3100960798-1.jpg[/t] Old Man Gloom - NO Genre: Doom/Post-Metal Sample: http://oldmangloom.bandcamp.com/track/regain-rejoin These guys are really something. Great, massive combination of doom and post-metal with some harsh as fuck vocals. Doesn't cross into the realm of "hardcore" vocals imo so it's a really treat to listen to. Totally awesome stuff right here. I only listened to NO so far but I know I'll be going through their other albums. E: Good lord is the bass work on this album awesome too.

[t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/33/99/3399413969-1.jpg[/t] Nathaniel Noton-Freeman Genre: Post-rock inspired acoustic? Sample: http://whorl.bandcamp.com/track/cairn This guy posted his first album a while ago on r/post-rock and I've been enjoying the album since. It's very somber and good for clearing my head. Acoustic guitars are always fun to listen to too.
[img_thumb]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/42/41/4241147320-1.jpg[/img_thumb] SORNE - House of Stone [PWYW] Genre: Freak Folk, Progressive Folk http://sorne.bandcamp.com/album/house-of-stone I don't really know what to call this because I've never heard anything like it before. The closest I can come to describing it is it's tribal sounding folk music with tons of layers of vocals, acoustic guitar, and no other conventional instruments. Almost everything else on the album is done with "found" instruments which create some interesting beats somewhat similar to trip-hop. There's no way I can do this album justice, just listen to it, it rules.
This is really fucking good.
Candidate - Psychic Dissonances From The Unself Genre - Post-Punk, Indie Rock http://candidate.bandcamp.com/ To keep it short and sweet, they're like a sped up joy division.Almost New Orderish but not quite.
If I may shamelessly promote my free-downloady-label-thing, we've just put out an EP from a guy called Taneli who is super-fucking-talented. If you're a fan of people like Julio Bashmore, Joy Orbison or Jacques Greene then check him out. LIVE! [t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/71/99/719962211-1.jpg[/t] Dionaea - Still Genre: Post-Grind? What? Post-Whatever. Sample: http://dionaea.bandcamp.com/track/same-story Some really weird post-whatever that turns into nonsense then back again to post-rock goodness then back into crazy. I find it hard to not to pay attention when listening to this stuff.
Tokyo Dreamer - Beat Culture Genre: Experimental Pop Sample: http://beatculture.bandcamp.com/track/shoreline Kinda noisy, still it has enough substance to keep you listening. Kinda like chillwave or lo-fi. Seems like the soundtrack to someone's winter/late summer.
[t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/38/07/3807979616-1.jpg[/t] Het Droste Effect - Linger Land Genre: Space Rock, Lo-Fi http://hetdrosteeffect.bandcamp.com/ Found this in a "do you like the song above?" thread here, and I thought it was great. Pretty awesome instrumental noise-rock music. I found a lot of great music here, thanks guys.

Found a few good ones lately. British Theatre - Dyed in the Wool Ghost [₤2.50 Not sure of equivalent in USD. Like $4.] Genre: Electronic, Progressive, Ambient http://britishtheatre.bandcamp.com/album/dyed-in-the-wool-ghost These guys apparently have some ex-members of Oceansize. Their sound is sort of a mix of Oceansize songwriting with some experimental electronic, possibly trip-hop sounding stuff. Definitely check this out if you're a fan of Oceansize, prog-rock, or even just experimental music in general. Snowmine - Laminate Pet Animal [PWYW] Genre: Psychedelic, Indie Rock, Chamber Pop http://snowmine.bandcamp.com/album/laminate-pet-animal Just found these guys and I haven't given them a proper listen yet but from what I've heard so far they're just really great psychedelic rock with orchestral bits. Should be a cool listen. I'll post more later. Also I have links for like 15-20 emo/screamo albums on bandcamp, most of them from 2012 and most of them free. Not sure if anyone here is interested but I could definitely post them or PM a list of them.
That album got a lot of noise for it but I never really liked it except for one song.
Corinna Rose EP Genre: Pop, Folk, Acoustic http://corinnarose.bandcamp.com/album/corinna-rose-ep I found this artist half a year ago. The four songs are really good, but rather short. If you like acoustic music and banjos you should listen to her songs. She's great! Also, shameless advertisment for her kickstarter on indiegogo. It's going be a full lenght album so go help her out if you like her music!
Not sure if this has been posted before but it's one of my fav ambient, atmospheric album. Hammock - Raising Your Voice...Trying to Stop an Echo Genre: Ambient Drone Post-Rock Instrumental Shoegaze http://hammock.bandcamp.com/album/raising-your-voice-trying-to-stop-an-echo
TSOSIS, Igorrr and Girlfriends got posted in here, omg luv u i have come to ruin the thread: http://clozzles.bandcamp.com/ it is the worst music on bandcamp
Is there any other stuff similar to XXYYXX?
Empire! Empire! are giving their entire discography for free this week. That's like 18 albums (EPs, splits, and singles/7"s included). Definitely check it out if you like indie-emo and if anything grab their full length What It Takes To Move Forward. http://empireempire.bandcamp.com/
[t]http://f0.bcbits.com/z/19/49/1949890706-1.jpg[/t] Pyramids/Horseback - A Throne Without a King Genre: Drone, Dark Ambient Sample: http://pyramids-hhr.bandcamp.com/track/a-throne-without-a-king-pt-1 I've been listening to this for a month off their Bandcamp page and I just bought the vinyl. I don't spend a lot of time listening to the songs by the individual groups, but collab songs which hold the name of the album are amazing and really dark. I was watching nuclear footage while Pt. 4 was playing and it was immensely more creepy than it should have been. Enjoyable listen, if you're into that music.
