I made an account in 2005 to talk about GMod and other Facepunch projects, but then I got bored of it. Haven't played GMod is a few years.
well this probably applies to everyone who joined in 08,07,06 and 05 like me but at this point in time i believe people join because they get the impression that this is 4chan 2.0 and they want to shit the place up like they always do where ever they go.
Never bought the actual game.
Tried/Played it when it was for free.
I registered on FP the day I got GMOD.
Now I never go to the GMOD forums. Ever. They're terrible.
I got introduced to the forums on a game of counter-strike source, just kept going on it ever since. (I remember the tests you had to take before posting, those were the days.)

I do not own Garry's Mod, though I had downloaded the original free version, played version to another version, and joined this forum where I found more than just a place to talk about video games.
Came for the apb leaks, stayed for the (intellectual) rudeness.
At first I did, then overtime this forum grew and it's the topics it covered expanded making it more appealing to stay due to the wide range of topics.
