I have to admit facepunch started out like 4chan, it was an anime imageboard at first and facepunch was a site for Gmod but then they and their communities evolved, also not everyone is here for Gmod, for example, i think the community of this website was awesome so i wanted to join in the discussions.
I joined for the TF2 section, because i dont like the Steam ones.
I dont even go to the TF2 section much now.

I registered because someone made a thread on how to improve your graphics via console commands if your computer sucked, and I asked about how to enable console in gmod. So yeah, I was here because of gmod but I never play the game, haven't done so in years, Facepunch is just a way to kill time now.
My old account is from 2005, but I didn't become active till a few years later. Nowadays I script gamemodes etc for GMod.

Plus I could never get it working, the bitch crashed all the goddamn time and it took like 30 minutes to join a server, then the map changed and I just gave up trying.

I joined because of Gmod. I don't stay here because of it though, I haven't played it in quite some time, but I always get back to it, it's so fun.
Yep, I found a link to Facepunch on gmod.org.
I joined due to Gmod myself, In a kind of learning about it type of way. Back in 2006. When i first saw Gmod i thought "I want to try that". Now i dont really bother going on G-mod since ive got other games to play. I guess im a bit of a lurker around here.
Really, Gmod and Facepunch got me into Half Life in general. ^^

I found this forum first and then I bought gmod
Never touched gmod. Just remember stumbling upon it because a friend of mine used to go on here. Lurked around as a guest in 06 but didnt make an account until some time in 07. Should've made the account in 06 so I could feel some sort of elitism. Sigh
I found facepunch by following links from garrysmod.org, been lurking since 2007, made this account in 2008, did't actually start posting until 2010.
Darn it, i voted no by mistake. i do owned Garry's Mod. I came here mainly to check on Gmod updates and new addon as well as hanging out at the General Discussion.
I've had GMOD since about '07 but it had no influence on me joining Facepunch.

The main reason i signed up is because i wanted to request a drivable Nissan GTR for Garry's Mod,but then i started browsing and now i feel like this is my home.
