i used to have goldfish. got them from a fair thing. lived for eight years until one managed to [I]impale[/I] itself on a plastic plant, the others then started eating it.
couple of months later, the tank started leaking. my mum took my fish out of the tank, and threw them in the fucking BIN! her excuse was "she didn't want to buy another tank". you know, instead of fixing it.

It looks nothing like an oscar, it's mouth it nothing like an oscars, and it's fin separation and amount of fins is different to an oscar.

Yeah when i was born my dad bought 4 goldfish for my sister (Not sure why), most of them eventually died along the years except one, he lived until i was 15, 15 fucking years. and he was white as fuck like yours too. When i was 10 the fish tank got put in my room. When it died it was the first time I'd been in my house without a goldfish in it :(
I didn't cry or anything though, it's just a fish.

Goldfish are a type of Carp.
Similar thing happend with one I had, it lived long over the average age, turned white like that (although not as pink) and got quite big. We did ask about it however I forgot what we got told.
