Here's another point for you to think about! What happens after you ban the consumption of dog meat? Millions of dogs would wander the streets. Most would starve to death and others would steal food from peoples, causing a nuisance. Many would contract diseases like rabies. Wild rabid dogs would roam the streets reproducing, creating even more wild rabid dogs and even more problems for the people who live there. Now really, do you want to create even more problems for the South Koreans? You selfish person.

I love my dog and I know he'll never be eaten or abused, but who am I to go against someone elses lifestyle, as long as they're killed in a humane fashion I don't care.

Just because most Western culture has accepted dogs as house pets doesn't mean every other culture has to, too. If we didn't domesticate dogs we would probably be eating them too.
