I'm not a very spiritual person at all, even more so since I received my degree in chemistry as everything 'spiritual' can be explained one way or another. I've only done fly agaric twice, and I only did it the second time because I thought I was missing something my first time (I really wasn't), yet I started doing magic mushrooms probably 7 years ago now, and in my mind I could always get a more insightful trip if I allowed myself to; which I don't really do now. Fly agaric made me feel slightly euphoric, a bit drunk and sleepy. I feel that shrooms 'expand' my mind, fly agaric dumbed me down.
Also, how long they've been used is a moot point. Yes, yes i'm sure many people would say they would prefer to take fly agaric for spiritual/insightful trips and i'm sure it's true for them, but if you've taken both before and truly believe fly agaric will do that, guess what will happen.

If you've never done it before, definitely. I don't hate fly agaric with a passion or anything, I just really don't find it worth my time. I'm glad I've experienced it though.

I feel like Amanitas have a lot of potential that I can't access at the moment. At this point, I agree, Psilocybin mushrooms are much better for introspection. I just need to find a place where I'm comfortable enough to fully experiences the Amanitas.
Would it be good to combine with psyches?
