I really suggest you see all the Ocean movies. (Ocean's 11, 12, 13)
I simply thought it was interesting and exciting, keeping it amusing and intriguing and awesome, and without being too bothered with realism, which I enjoy quite often i.e. Inglorious Basterds. Plus Dafoe did a really great job in it.
I agree that it was pretty exciting, and the acting was pretty good (some were better than others...) but I felt that the WHOLE movie was trying very hard to be Tarantino-esque, which as a huge fan of Tarantino, bothered me. To each his or her own though.
Pixar's movies.
AMEN TO THIS
Blade Runner (The Final Cut is preferred, since it doesn't have the crumby narration in a monotone voice.)
No Country for Old Men
The Road (It's coming out next month. If you've read the book, you know it'll be great.)
I would NOT recommend seeing Jurassic Park 3, it was a pile of shit.
I didn't like Full Metal Jacket, I just don't see whats so great about it.
Also, you might wanna list everything you've seen that's 'great' so you don't get a bunch of recommendations that you've already seen.
It is another movie based on the Vietnam War explaining the hardships of American Soldiers (Not the ones raping, pillaging, and destroying Vietnam in the sense that the fucking Hippie bastards whined about) that had to live through mental shit-storms while over there.
Full Metal Jacket (Already suggested)
The Deer Hunter
Taxi Driver (Although it does not take place in the Vietnam War, the protagonist is a veteran of the war and his sense of life is somewhat warped by his time there. Which helps with the "Man to Monster" transformation during the film.)
Platoon
Fight Club, pretty sure everyone has seen that though.
Logan's Run, in case you missed it in my last post
*sigh* Another list I have to make: 'Great' Movies I Need to See...

Donnie Darko, my favorite movie of all time.
You will not understand this movie the first time you watch it, you will have to watch it a few more times to understand it completely. I've watched it a good 10 times and I still find out something new each time I watch it. It really makes you think.
Not to mention this awesome character is in it. I want this costume for Halloween.

Accident, thread is filling so fast I'm having trouble keeping up. Nothing personally against any of them.
There Will Be Blood, I was stunned at Daniel Day-Lewis' performance in that film. He really deserved the Oscar for that.

The first one was the best, after that it was so-so future action movie.
