• Are we getting more Destructive or Peaceful?

I would say both, we make more guns, research new technology do create new weapons. But on the other side we are trying to be more peaceful by taking in refugees etc. And we arent dead by nuclear war yet are we?
It seems to be a little bit of both. But there's too many people in the world to group into a verdict, etc.
The more people, the more peaceful/destructive people as well as more poor and wealthy and middle class people, no?
Honestly, I'm afraid that a major War in our lifetimes is certainly possible.
Honestly, I'm afraid that a major War in our lifetimes is certainly possible.
Between who? Ethiopia and Sudan? Why would any country launch a major attack on another country with nuclear capability? I mean, come on, as a whole we have calmed the fuck down during the last 100 years. People have started wars on much more insignificant shit than what we have today. I mean look at World War 1. All because of a murder of 1 man. Nowadays it would just be some politicians saying some mean words about the other state and how they're right and the other side is wrong, and that's about it. Nobody wants to go to war in the modern age except terrorist groups and governments that don't give 2 shits about their people. These result in minor conflicts, hardly world changing stuff, and are firecrackers compared to the cannon shells that are a major global conflict.

Crude oil fuels war. So when oil runs out, it's gonna be some interesting times. Can you even imagine the year 4000? There won't be hardly any oil left by then, but there will still be people at about 10 billion, god hope the population's stabilized by then.
We're so less violent now, but the media portrays it the exact opposite in order to create a tense society. It's social manipulation.
mankind has the ability to obliterate the entire planet with nuclear devices. but there are way less wars in general. they kind of negate the effects of eachother.

Regardless of the differences that peoples have, I think the large majority of us don't want human civilization wiped out of existence.
I would say we are kinda in the middle. I find it tho the the gap between rich and poor tho has grow much bigger over the years.

Yet, I mean a full-time war, a War that will take lives and impact us, our countries, in a rather certain way.

with the way the economy works today, war just simply isnt viable and isnt in the interest of the corporations that help finance the western world
