This isn't really a book you'd want to read on a bus, but it's damn good :v:
Pretty much everything by Tom Clancy. Books written by Agatha Christie. Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick.

That book is really really good, and deeply disturbing, kinda makes me happy Im not that kid, that and "The pillars of the earth" or "A world without end" are both amazing books about old England, really fascinating, about 1000+ pages.

dante's inferno is good if you find one that's purely a translation and not a reimagining/fanfic
Issac Asimov Caves of Steel, or well all of the Asimov Books, C.S Lewis's Space Trilogy. Greg Egan's Incandescence.
A site I use is Goodreads.com which has a very good book recommendation system. You put in some books you've read and give them a 1-5 star rating, then it churns out books you may like based on what other people have said about them and their personal book likes.

It's a very good website, but the community is rife with soccer moms and teenage girls.
Wait, soccer moms don't have good reading tastes? Shit.
Welcome to the NHK.
A great novel if you can appreciate the lifestyle of a recluse who draws loli porn.
