The movie was a bunch of incredibly mind blowing CGI effects.
That's pretty much it.
If only they had a guy replace Megan Fox, maybe then I would have been more interested.

Great now I have the image of Shia LaBeouf kissing a guy in my head. Thanks a lot.

He's gay. If you haven't notice.
The film was god damn epic. Took my dad to see it, but I'm definitely going one more time, but for an IMAX screening. Can't wait to get it on blu-ray. :buddy:
If you want to see what the next ten years of military technology will look like, go see Transformers.
If you want to see gigantic, US military penis waving, go see Transformers.
If you want to see some of the most interrupting and terrible dialog delivered in the most natural tones to make it seem alright, go see Transformers.
If you want to see Megan Fox be hot, go see Transformers.
It was just...that...bad.
HOWEVER
If you want to see some of the most impressive CGI in the God damn world, for years to come, go see Transformers.
If you want to see giant robot fights that make Japan cream their pants in shame, go see Transformers.
If you want to see a movie where every ten minutes you can yell out "FATALITY!", go see Transformers.
If you want to see something totally fucking awesome, go see Transformers.
I really didn't go to this for the dialog. I didn't expect much of a story. I went for robots. It is an absolute CGI, robot fighting, explosion laced piece of mother fucking work, and it has convinced me that is Michael Bay was not a movie director, he'd be a terrorist.

The Critics and public disagree.

It's worse than X-men and Terminator 4 now...
The critics are idiots that need a finely detailed plot that would take days to explain to someone and can't appreciate a good, honest and fun action movie.
I thought that was an amazing movie, also,[sp]How were there descendants of the Primes, I know they're partially organic, but they never really said how there could be a descendant unless it was just a master/apprentice deal[/sp]
Also, I watch movies for fun, and don't spend the whole time focusing on the problems of the plot. Movies are meant to be enjoyed, not reviewed. They're just reviewed so the public knows whether to see it or not. They have gotten way too serious with reviews though

A movie that is an actually all-around good movie, like, I dunno, Slumdog Millionaire, is more enjoyable to watch, despite the lack of 10 billlion dollars of CGI, because you aren't cringing at the horrible jokes and cliche storyline.
Still liked Transformers 2, if only for the fun action sequences, but don't say stupid things like the plot doesn't matter.
"Punk ass decepticons." After hearing that i promptly announced that optimus is a badass.
fuck the fights made me disappointed
i thought the final fight would be some awesome epic battle where optimus and the fallen space-warp into outer space and duke it out, then on an asteroid, and crash back to earth
i am disappoint
I quite loved the epic-ness of the fights. Thing is a lot of people are hating on the whole shaky camera shit, but they're 10 times easier to view and understand than the first movie.
One problem was the lack of info on the new Autobot's. Unless you read the tie in novels or comics you won't know who they are.
Also, Jetfire rules.
I heard one of the robots has 50,000 moving parts on it.
Must have been a fucking nightmare to animate.
Did anyone else notice how Sam's hand looked real ghetto when he placed it on Bumblebee's jaw in his garage? That's the only problem I noticed. I loved the rest. :)
Going to see it later this evening...
I hate the hic bots...
saw it, kick ass robot fighting, fucking terrible story, plus the mechanical impossibilities bothered me, like how the robots can transform into new things that they pick without having to be rebuilt and stuff, doesn't make any sense from a mechanical point of view especially seeing as the transformations look pretty complicated. But I just went to see it for robots tearing eachother limb from limb anyway so I was satisfied.
It was a great film, but so confusing near the end. The robots colours all sort of blended together and I didn't know whether I should be cheering or booing, because I couldn't tell who was who...
this movie was so terrible
Not really looking for a story, but I guess my eyes could do with some fappable CGI.
I didn't think the story was that bad.
IMAX

is awesome
I loved it.
I heard there were racist caricatures, the plot was stupid as fuck and unfollowable, and there was gratuitous US military apologism; being that it is transformers and michael bay I believe it
because it's a summer action movie does not excuse it from being awful; star trek was a summer action movie and it was actually very good regardless of that fact. I won't spend money on this shit (however I will gleefully go see Public Enemies and District 9)
People that haven't seen this, PLEASE go see TheSpoonyOne's review of it first. It is absolute shit.

I personally think the movie was amazing. They did a very good job with the action scenes. Plus the slow motion part where the girls breast were bouncing up and down.

yes we should hinge everything we know about this movie on one dumb idiot from the internet's opinion
not saying that the movie wasn't terrible, but seriously dude
All the so called critics see amazing CGI and automatically announce it as shit. Its not even people praising the movie for its CGI alone, its people down talking it for the CGI alone. I watched the entire movie and loved it. The story wasn't bad at all, neither was the dialogue. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who likes action movies.
Its amazing that people actually HATE movies for their visual effects...
So I was watching this movie, and keeping track of time with my watch. 40 minutes to the end, the movie becomes a buttfuck of confusion when it starts playing backwards and upside down. This goes on for about 7 minutes, until it shuts off.
An hour and several broken promises later, the movie is canceled, someone pukes in the hall, there's a swarm of angry people filling the lobby hoping to see transformers on it's second day, and I get a free movie coupon.
As for parts I did see, I noticed a few neat things that must have been for people who saw Beast Wars, like the red motorcycle transformers and Optimus Prime spitting out a tooth. I really want to see the end.
is there even 1 post itt regarding the two racist caricatures

There are two small cars (twins) who speak in Ghetto Slang, have a gold tooth, admit they are illiterate, and fight all the time.
