I think people prefer the taste of bottled water, even though water hypothetically does not have taste.
The one upside to living in the middle of nowhere.
Having your own well.
Whenever I go to someones house that has city water, I just can't drink it.
^You are right, comrade. Once I went to the capital city of Finland to meet my friend. He offered me a glass of pipe water and I slapped him in the face with a belt and told him to go away. Such is life in ex-soviet country

Water does have taste, humans just can't taste it, other animals like dogs can.
one thing nice about living in the country is that we dont have any bad tasting city water we have a well so we dont have to buy bottled water
Actually, I recently found out...if plastic bottles are left unused for a while, then the chemicals in the plastic leach into the water, which might cause sterility in females, respiratory diseases, and chronic nausea.
Tap water tastes fine to me, too, I don't know what problems people have with it.
well watter
since when is bottled water expensive?

Where I work, we charge $4.25 for a bottle of water but give out free cups of ice water the same size, if asked.
I just drank a bottle of water looking at this thread :v: I don't really care about sink water I used to drink it all the time, still do, kinda tastes like arrowhead water.
As for the bottle of Voss, water is about 3 bucks a bottle because of"where it comes from."
"Voss Artesian bottled water is taken from a virgin aquifer that, according to the company, has been shielded for centuries under ice and rock in the untouched wilderness of Central Norway.

why aren't the fountain drinks just set up where the customers can reach them. it's annoying when the fountain drinks are behind the counter where you can't even get to them.
and no one is going to pay for a $2 bottle of water when they can get the water for free. it's a waste of money.
Actually I've been working there for a fairly long time and many people buy water. Some people by 6 bottles of water and it ends up costing them around $8.
In Australia, if a restaurant/bar/etc serves alcohol, they must provide free water
Bottle water tastes better when its ice cold
Only faggots buy bottled water, real men drink from the tap. The again, I don't live in some backwater fuck knows where, where the tap water isn't safe to drink.
I work at a fast food place and we are required to supply cups of water. I don't mind, but making me refill your cup 3 times just gets me pissed off cause you're too cheap to buy a bottle of water.
Brotip: Soda fountains have a little white lever that pours water, always work at a place where the soda fountain is avaliable to the customers, makes your life easier. Or at least give bigger cups.
I never understood what "ice cold water" means. Ice is less than 0C, so if your water was ice cold, wouldn't it be below zero, thus freezing?
I'd say it's because you actually mean 'cold like ice' and not 'colder than ice'. So basically 'water that is cold like ice'
Most bottled water has minerals to "enhance taste." So, you're basically paying $2.00 to have salt in your water and make sure it has no contaminates in it.
Funny thing is if you go to China as a tourist, you HAVE to drink bottled water, since the tap water is poisonous to the point where it can kill you from drinking a few cups of it within 3 hours.
:ohdear:
Yep, or boil your goddamn water every couple hours.
Actually, a thick film forms over the top of the water really quickly. It's really goddamn disgusting.
Also, almost no drink comes cold. I woke up one morning to hot orange juice, which was rather surprising. :v:
I prefer tap depending on the town, but if there's iceberg water I'll have that.

It's nice when you can freeze it solid and not see any imperfections. I prefer getting iceberg water and freezing it so there's a decent amount of ice on the sides, but still liquid in the center, so I can break it and drink it literally ice cold.

Work at a fast food place without soda fountains and only sinks in the back.
