• How to get that oily-hair effect without the oil?

But seriously guys. Conditioner works for your long hair. Wash your hair once every other day. I still recommend taking a shower everyday though. Try not get it wet on the days you don't wash your hair. For shorter hair (almost reaches eyebrows) , shower and also use conditioner. Try showering at night too, so when you sleep your hair can begin to regain some of its essential oils back again. Then in the morning use HAIR WAX. Hair wax adds semi-stiffness and volume to hair without the nasty oily greasy shit you would get from gel or pomade.
Oh nevermind you have long hair.
Why would you go days without showering That's just terrible.
gaybrow me because I have hair guys. Thanks.
So basically the OP wants greasy hair. I think you're thinking backwards, no one wants to have greasy hair.
why do you want greasy hair
Hair wax, it's watery and doesn't look revolting.
Don't shower
I'm going to be serious here, use pomade. It makes your hair look really oily, but the thing is that it's very hard to wash out of your hair. You'd need to use shampoo every day (which would just make your hair look drier without the product).
don't shower and sweat alot.
Hair Wax. Pantene has a good one I use.
I'm gonna start calling you Ponyboy now
That's a good book. Movie was kinda suckish though.
true that
Howdy folks, I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in this section; it didn't seem the type of thread for 'fast threads', and over the years I've been banned far too many times for creating inappropriate threads in that dark abyss. I've got hair that reaches down to just below my cheekbones. I've realised that when I don't wash it for a couple of days it takes on a texture and managability that I really like (usually it looks all boofy and awful). I put it down to the abundance of oil. This, however, is usually a sign of poor hygiene, so I want to avoid this method of getting the effect. Are there any products I can use to emulate the effects of oil without looking like a homeless person?
Whenever my hair gets oily, my mom tends to call me an 'oil rig'. Fucking head grease is flammable too, don't ask how i once set my hair on fire.
Don't wash your hair.
Take a shower, don't dry it completely, slick back, add gel. there you go.
lotion works for hair too, I do that
Look for hair care products labeled "sleek". I've tried doing this before (although with considerably longer hair) and this is what I've found works best, although I have stick straight hair to begin with. Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Conditioner Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Deep Conditioner Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Hair Serum Follow all the directions on the backs. If your hair still isn't quite as straight as you'd like after that, you can try using a hair straightener (or a straightening iron) before you put the hair serum in. While the hair serum will really give your hair that sleek shiny look, it makes your hair feel extremely nasty if you don't wash it everyday.
I'm not suggesting that I don't shower daily; I shower every morning. I was my hair too. We're on study break at the moment, so I'm not going out much at all. Therefore I decided to wash my hair only with water (instead of the regular shampoo), and found that I like the texture and managability of it. Thanks for the ideas!
That's a good book. Movie was kinda suckish though.
Our school did a production of that this year. I'm tempted to put it on youtube.
I used to put conditioner in it but not wash it out
Bryll Cream. A little dab will do ya.

That's what petrolheads use.
Use a shampoo that keeps the moisture in your hair.
Stay gold
*oil picture* That's what petrolheads use.
Remember to always use full synthetic. It lasts longer.
Don't wash it for the rest of your life.
I have long hair and I just let it look dry. Better than looking like I just crawled out of a deep-fat fryer.
