No. In my area, being a communist is practically the same as being a Nazi in the public's eyes. Trust me, if I wanted to be cool based around politics, I sure as hell wouldn't pick an extremist system. I choose it because it's what I believe in, and I continue to hold this as my chosen alignment because the more I research it, the more I like the idea of it.

No, a lot of young kids think they're cool and unique by being a "communist" when in reality most of them have only a very basic understanding of the ideology.

I didn't say every person who says they're a communist is 12.
Also, the guy I quoted, had quoted someone else, who said communism was for 13 year olds or something.
Which is where the whole "young people" factor came from.

Truthfully I'm rather anti-USSR, china, Korea, Vietnam, etc etc. I think that after Lenin, they all went to shit, and even some during Lenin's rule. The republic, single-party, semi-fascist form of communism did not successfully represent the people, allowing for too much control of the party and too much limitation of individual rights, causing them to turn into deformed workers states. However, I love the ideals of the leaders' propaganda and the symbolism (not the "Love the State!" stuff, the "Help your fellow man! The People r teh bestest!" stuff), so while I don't support previous communist governments or their leaders or their leaders ideals, I like what they were supposed to stand for, but never really did.[/QUOTE]

Communalism is different than communism. Hippies were communalist
Leninism/Bolshevism's the best form of socialsm in my opinion.
