Firstly, I strongly recommend using a different background colour.
Secondly, your legs look like ropes; really have you ever seen legs like that?
Thirdly, when I walk/run (not sure about you) my feet don't go 90 degrees upwards... I'm pretty sure you'd fall over.
In fourth, why is your sword 2px wide on some of it's length? It looks more like a deformed gun.
Fifth. That red glow should be around equally the sword, not just on the bottom with a little bit on the top.
