hur dur agnostics r dum
Great argument. Really proves the contrary.
hur dur agnostics r dum
The logical position is non existence. They are on the fence. It's just as stupid.
Great argument. Really proves the contrary.
Sorry, I thought I didn't have to argue against your entirely wrong argument.
The logical position is non existence. They are on the fence. It's just as stupid.
Yeah, they're stupid for thinking about something that no one will know.
Sorry, I thought I didn't have to argue against your entirely wrong argument.
Making yourself look like an idiot isn't helping. Try actually arguing instead of trolling.
Yeah, they're stupid for thinking about something that no one will know.
The existence of the Abrahamic God is not an unknown. It is myth. If you really can't differentiate between myth and reality, you need to seek help.
Sorry, I thought I didn't have to argue against your entirely wrong argument. Yeah, they're stupid for thinking about something that no one will know.
Ill say it again since you seem to be fond of ignoring contradicting evidence. When it comes time to act. They have to take a side which influences their decisions. The logical position for this is that a god does not exist as there is no evidence to the contrary. Being on the fence for this completely illogical.
Making yourself look like an idiot isn't helping. Try actually arguing instead of trolling.
Alright.
You don't know what religion or agnosticism is.
I'd like to see something to back this up. You know, beyond insults. [editline]01:20AM[/editline]
Being on the fence for this completely illogical.
Actually, no, it isn't. It's about as logical as being on the other side of the fence.
I'd like to see something to back this up.
Try reading.
Actually, no, it isn't. It's about as logical as being on the other side of the fence.
Are you in middle school? I remember when I was. Being an agnostic was cool, as was being a wiccan. It's so edgy, huh?
Try reading. Are you in middle school? I remember when I was. Being an agnostic was cool, as was being a wiccan. It's so edgy, huh?
OOOOOOH, SNAP! ICE BURN! Actually, no, I'm in college. But nice attempt to mar my argument by implying I was a child, and thus knew nothing. As well, considering that you're saying he knows nothing about what agnosticism is, right after he stated exactly what agnosticism is, the argument doesn't seem to be entirely in your favor.
Alright. I'd like to see something to back this up. You know, beyond insults. [editline]01:20AM[/editline] Actually, no, it isn't. It's about as logical as being on the other side of the fence.
Nice edit. Well, for one. Atheism is actually the only logical choice. You were right and you didn't even know it. As for it being as logical as the other side of the fence, well see, in the real world, (I suggest you move here, things actually make sense and shit it's amazing), we have this thing called evidence. Without evidence you don't believe in something. Like say, there is no evidence of a teapot orbiting mars, so it would be rather logical to assume said teapot does not exist. So since there is no evidence (the scientific definition of evidence, that which can be tested and such), it is most logical to assume a god does not exist.
As well, considering that you're saying he knows nothing about what agnosticism is, right after he stated exactly what agnosticism is, the argument doesn't seem to be entirely in your favor.
He thinks that you can't believe in an afterlife if you're an atheist. He's an idiot. As are you.
Well this puts my mind at ease, I'm much less worried about not being able to get into a collage or something like that now.
we have this thing called evidence.
Ever hear about a guy named Descartes? [editline]01:26AM[/editline]
Well this puts my mind at ease, I'm much less worried about not being able to get into a collage or something like that now.
It's only a community college, actually. I hate small towns.
Ever hear about a guy named Descartes?
Ever heard of "you're an idiot?"
Ever hear about a guy named Descartes?
Obviously there is a level of assumption in everything. But there is a rather clear line between logical evidence and fallacy.
Obviously there is a level of assumption in everything. But there is a rather clear line between logical evidence and fallacy.
To you, maybe. That line moves from person to person. [sp]Spoiler alert: God is actually tricking you into thinking that Atheism is the only logical choice.[/sp] :v:
Ever heard of "you're an idiot?"
OH SNAP! YOU ARE ON FIRE, MAN!
To you, maybe. That line moves from person to person. [sp]Spoiler alert: God is actually tricking you into thinking that Atheism is the only logical choice.[/sp] :v: OH SNAP! YOU ARE ON FIRE, MAN!
I can't even tell if you're trolling now. :frown:
I'm not.
To you, maybe. That line moves from person to person. [sp]Spoiler alert: God is actually tricking you into thinking that Atheism is the only logical choice.[/sp] :v: OH SNAP! YOU ARE ON FIRE, MAN!
I think it's located exactly between testable evidence and non testable evidence.
So do you test everything you believe?
So do you test everything you believe?
Testable =/= Test I could if I really wanted to.
So do you test everything you believe?
Come up with an experiment to prove God exists. You can't. So don't use that as an insult.
Come up with an experiment to prove God exists. You can't. So don't use that as an insult.
Oh, I'm sorry, did you assume that I was arguing that God exists? If you did, you're horribly wrong.
:respek:
If you did, you're horribly wrong.
You argue that he may or may not exist. Same difference.
Oh, I'm sorry, did you assume that I was arguing that God exists? If you did, you're horribly wrong.
You're arguing that both positions are equally logical. That is incorrect because science can be tested and proven and is supported with evidence.
You're arguing that both positions are equally logical. That is incorrect because science can be tested and proven and is supported with evidence.
We're not talking about science.
We're not talking about science.
So you're an idiot.
We're not talking about science.
Ughhh. You know what I mean. It is logical to be on the side that god does not exist as there is no evidence for his existence. Without evidence there is no reason to believe something exists, while absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence, absence of evidence means that the default position on the existence of something is a negative. Apply to god, unicorns and leprechauns.
So you're an idiot.
Atheism has nothing to do with science. Don't even bother trying to argue that.
Ughhh. You know what I mean.
Atheism has nothing to do with science.
Theism goes against science and any form of logical thinking.
No evidence that you've seen.
I hope you're a troll. It's either that or you're a humongous idiot.
