Atheism has nothing to do with science.
Don't even bother trying to argue that.
No evidence that you've seen.
So, would you believe me if I told you I had a stable of unicorns on the moon only detectable by me and Doriol?
Theism goes against science and any form of logical thinking.
No, it doesn't.
I think your confusing "Theism" with most modern followers of theistic religions.
No, it doesn't.
Yes, it does. Prove me wrong.
And don't reply to this post with a satirical retort.
So, would you believe me if I told you I had a stable of unicorns on the moon only detectable by me and Doriol?
I wouldn't have a reason to not believe it beyond what I've seen before in my life.
There's nothing impossible about unicorns on the moon.
No, it doesn't.
Theism in the broadest sense is the belief in at least one deity.[1][2] In a more specific sense, theism refers to a particular doctrine concerning the nature of God and his relationship to the universe.[3] Theism, in this specific sense, conceives of God as personal and active in the governance and organization of the world and the universe.
No evidence of this what so ever. Thus, the logical position is non existence, any further questions?
Yes, it does. Prove me wrong.

Sorry, that's not how an argument works.
You're a goatfucker. Prove me wrong.
Yes there is.
Do you still believe in Santa, by any chance?
I wouldn't have a reason to not believe it beyond what I've seen before in my life.
There's nothing impossible about unicorns on the moon.
There's nothing impossible about a god either, but does that mean that because of my statement you would believe that I own a stable of unicorns on the moon?
You're a goatfucker. Prove me wrong.
Burden of proof is on you. Don't make a claim if you can't back it up.
Yes there is.
Do you still believe in Santa, by any chance?
Really? What's impossible about horses with horns being on the moon?
[editline]01:52AM[/editline]
Burden of proof is on you. Don't make a claim if you can't back it up.
Right back at you, big boy.
Sorry, that's not how an argument works.
You're a goatfucker. Prove me wrong.
That which can be brought up without evidence, can also be disproven without evidence.
He isn't a goatfucker. You're proven wrong.

No actually the burden of proof is on you because you are making the claim. This isn't how an argument works, you have to provide some sort of proof.
Right back at you, big boy.
No. You said theism is logical. It's your turn to explain why you think it is.
No actually the burden of proof is on you because you are making the claim. This isn't how an argument works, you have to provide some sort of proof.
Actually, the burden of proof lies on him because he has the positive claim.
[editline]01:55AM[/editline]
No. You said theism is logical. It's your turn to explain why you think it is.
I said theism is as logical.
Hardly the same thing.
Actually, the burden of proof lies on him because he has the positive claim.
Actually you have the positive claim as there is no evidence of him being a goatfucker.

Okay, then do tell how it's as logical?
Actually, the burden of proof lies on him because he has the positive claim.

Your stupidity is reaching bone shattering levels.
Actually you have the positive claim as there is no evidence of him being a goatfucker.
As well as on him for claiming that, by talking about Atheism, we are talking about science.
[editline]01:56AM[/editline]
Okay, then do tell how it's as logical?
Is there any evidence to say that there is no god?

[editline]01:56AM[/editline]
Is there any evidence to say that there is no god?
Nope. It's just on you since you brought up the original claim. There is no point to bring up a claim without any evidence as then it is lower than an ad hominem logical fallacy as those may actually use factual evidence to discredit someone contrary to your lack of evidence.

Is there any evidence to say that there is no god?
No. But you cannot disprove a negative. Before something is considered logical it must have some sort of evidence supporting it, belief in something lacking any evidence is illogical.
Is there any evidence to say that there is no god?
Is there evidence to support the claim that there is a god?
No, there is not. So it would be logical to say no such thing exists.
Why is that so hard to understand?
Example.
Bill: "I think that some people have psychic powers."
Jill: "What is your proof?"
Bill: "No one has been able to prove that people do not have psychic powers."
This is a Burden of Proof logical fallacy as Bill is completely lacking in proof for his claim that some people have powers. Jill is correct in her skepticism as the logical position on this is that people do not have powers as there is no evidence supporting that people have powers.
How about we all keep our own opinions and respect the fact that we don't all think the same thing. Atleast keep petty insults to a minimum because they haven't got science OR religion anywhere anytime.
No. But you cannot disprove a negative. Before something is considered logical it must have some sort of evidence supporting it, belief in something lacking any evidence is illogical.
Sorry, that double negative fucked up my concentration, can you explain that slower for me? :downs:

Yeah guys fuck sharing of ideas and knowledge lets all just believe our own misguided views of the universe and stuff. Hell yeah, you know terrorists, you can just keep flying planes into buildings, we can't infringe on your right to believe.
I don't like it when people that have power make decisions based on imaginary and misguided views of the world around them. Terrorists clearly have power to end lives, and I don't want them ending mine just because someone never explained a little critical thinking to them.
Is there evidence to support the claim that there is a god?
No, there is not. So it would be logical to say no such thing exists.
Why is that so hard to understand?
Sorry, I asked first.
Sorry, I asked first.
So you're going to troll now? Great.
So you're going to troll now? Great.
I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Sorry, that double negative fucked up my concentration, can you explain that slower for me? :downs:
I'm not saying I know that god doesn't exist. Maybe he does, I don't know. However, what I do know, is that logical thinking and forward progress depends on only believing on that which has supporting evidence. (See: scientific method) God has no evidence and thus it is only logical to assume he does not exist until further notice.
What don't you understand about this?
[editline]10:07PM[/editline]
Sorry, I asked first.
The burden of proof doesn't depend on who asked first.
The burden of proof doesn't depend on who asked first.
(Except for me. I'm special. :downs:)
Alright, what did I miss?
