first time I used my dump pouch I rolled it up and i could not open it when I had to put my empty mag in it because one hand had a gun and the other had a mag so from then on I leave it open

I roll up my dump pouch because it does nothing other than be on my belt. I dont quite like the feeling of 2-3 pound and a half magazines swinging around in there.

I ditch my mags on the ground in emergencies :v: Thank god for cheapo MAG brand mags Alternatively, I cinch up my waist belt all the way and stuff them in my tunic (when I have my soviet kit)

i don't really see how rolling up my dump pouch would help storage although my idea of storing my gear is throwing it in a box by the door sooooo

So it's not hanging down interfering with your leg movement, depending on where you have it.

My dump pouch takes up like 1/3 of the space it normally does when I roll it up, and my new blue force one takes up like 1/10 of the space. Granted you can just crumple it up, but I like my stuff to be relatively neat(rip) and squared away

I've worn 5 dump pouches at once due to laziness, forget ALL OF YOU GUYS. Sadly one of them got set on fire from a grenade that landed in the pouch, but that's life. More on topic, I don't care about dump pouches being rollable or not, the 2 things I look for are elastic retention around the top and a semi-rigid construction. The latter is particularly important because it keep the pouch from flopping around and being worthless.

That was a particularly terrifying moment. Not only were you on fire, there was also a grenade 2 feet from me
