Personally, I think the thumbhole stock is really fucking sexy.
Never cared for the SL8. Had a friend who had a CA SL8 back in the day. The thumb hole stock felt weird and uncomfortable to grip. Rather take a standard G36 any day.
I used an SL8 before and as nice as it looks, it has the ergonomics of a cardboard box, and my hand hurt like hell afterwords

or hell even a low profile t1 for back up but it'd look stupid but it's not as if the holo is magnified.
