No no, this isn't for killing people, it's for "dispersing" people in the same manner as molotovs except this is more professional, accurate and controlled. :v:
notice i quoted a specific post, ye of foolish nature
My idea and his idea are very similar though.

Christ, now I see why this never went into production. It looks like H&K just shat steampunk into it.

Sodium and water doesn't really do a lot though, other than creating H2, delicious sodiumhydroxide and a little smoke.
WELL I GUESS ITS TIME FOR ME TO LEAVE GOODBYE MYES
I thought those were fishing bobbers
Couldn't you just fill those balls with napalm that ignite on contact with air? I think that would disperse a riot pretty quickly.
They actually have "pepperball" type rounds for police issued paintball markers that do the same thing as pepper spray. I've seen them get used by prison ERT on "Locked up" a few times.

I know what they are. I played Swat.
Ah yes, the pepperball gun. AKA how to get teammates killed without actually teamkilling them.
Isn't the pepperball gun just made for shooting that annoying woman that keeps on yelling in Swat 4?

no its for shooting teammates end of story
This is/was a BAR

I'm actually kind of ok with this.
i like everything from the mag forwards. Cool comp, mega extendo clip, and dimpled barrel look nice. The top handguard rail could sit lower, which would make the gun seem less odd shaped. Not a fan of the tan, but overall execution i'd say is around 7/10
I don't see the point at all. Who needs or wants a modern .30-06 automatic rifle?
I'm sure there's a market for things like that.
I bet some people would find a modernised BAR to be a fun range toy and it saves them fucking up a real one, providing those are repros and aren't just tactifucked original BARs.

The page I found it on says they're considering other calibers

And to be honest I could see this being used as a DMR more than an automatic rifle

They're definitely new production because the original ones wouldn't be allowed by the ATF unless the receivers were cut down and welded back together. I mean as a range toy? Might be fun but it would be expensive to feed, and really if anyone wants a BAR it's mostly for the vintage/ww2 appeal.
I've seen AR uppers that are chambered for .30 carbine, my anatomy teacher has about a dozen M1 Carbines and really wants to get one of those uppers for his AR-15 just because he really likes .30 carbine as a round.
People were recently saying about how that was a good idea in another thread. My only problem with it is the stupid looking legs.
With some camouflage netting, a camo painted gun, and something to conceal the camera a little better it'd be pretty much invisible if you stuffed it in a bush or something. I'd hate to be fighting against someone with one if it is that well concealed, though.
It'd be the funniest thing ever to sneak up behind one of those things and just drop the magazine from the gun, The operator would never know.
I just imagined the situation and couldn't help but burst into hysterical laughter.
I just noticed the price, it's like 3000 pounds and another 400 to get the MULTICAM™ BRAND MULTICAM™ version.
As cool as it might be I think it's safe to say i think I'll never see one of those in an airsoft game ever.
I'd actually really like to see an airsoft turret like that.
A turret that looked like a CROWS system with an M249 mounted would be cool as fuck.
And that has given me an idea for something completely unrelated to airsoft too, so thanks for mentioning that.
apparently a Japanese Pedersen Rifle prototype lol
