I really like that, and I hate P90's. I'd be super into it if it had a bottom rail instead of more fish grip though.

I dunno, extra rails on a P90 just seems ridiculous for a lot of reasons. Either you have a built in red dot with irons or an optic rail, in addition to a side rail and an ergonomic grip, what else are you going to put on there? More importantly its a PDW, so adding length and bulk are the things you really don't want to do. I guess you could have a light, laser, optic, backup sights, and more ergonomic grip by adding the RIS, but it just seems obtuse and ridiculous.

I'd like to see someone design a 5.7x28mm rifle or carbine that feeds from P90 mags. The AR 5-7 doesn't count, i'm talking designed from the ground up. Can you even use the AR 5-7 with a folding stock, or does it actually need the buffer tube?

I think it would be useful on a civilian P90, where you already have the length whether you like it or not. The frontal rails would be useful for mounting larger accessories that would be unwieldy on the stock side rails (like a Surefire M951). As for a bottom rail, you hit the nail on the head - it'd be good for a more ergonomic grip. The extra not-connected top rail seems a little excessive though. However, the P90 already has a nice ergonomic grip for all but the biggest hands, and a big old light would be a bit better with the rails in line with the barrel, but would also make it a bit more front heavy. I mean yeah people can do whatever they want with their own guns and its the least ridiculous P90 RIS as of now, but it just seems like its solving a problem that doesn't really exist. Also, a PEQ seems useless for either application although I guess it gives you the option if you're dedicated to insanity.

Also, a PEQ seems useless for either application although I guess it gives you the option if you're dedicated to insanity.[/QUOTE] if I had a PS90, I would probably use that ris simply because having a long barrel sticking out of a gun made to be very compact like a p90 or a vector looks wonky to me and since its a civilian version you'd only be using it for range shooting so its not like you'd be using it like you'd be using a pdw. also it looks like its made of polymer with metal rails, so I doubt it would add that much weight.
